(AN: HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY MY AMERICAN READERS!)
White House, July Fourth, 2258
WIlliam Eden Sighs before walking out to the newly rebuilt City of Washington D.C with a smile on his face before seeing many news cameras and reporters looking at him in awe. he stands up on the Podium and begins to prepare his speech.
"My fellow Americans,
Today, we gather to celebrate the birth of our great nation, the Fourth of July. It is a day that symbolizes freedom, resilience, and the unyielding spirit of the American people. As President of the Enclave and America, I am honored to stand before you on this momentous occasion.
Two hundred years ago, our forefathers declared their independence from tyranny and oppression, forging a new path toward liberty and justice. Today, we honor their legacy and recommit ourselves to the principles upon which this nation was founded.
In the wasteland, it can be easy to lose sight of these ideals. The world around us is filled with chaos and uncertainty, but the spirit of America endures. It endures in our hearts and in our actions as we strive to rebuild and restore our great nation.
This Fourth of July, let us remember the sacrifices of those who came before us. The patriots who fought for our independence, the soldiers who defended our freedom, and the pioneers who built our nation from the ground up. Their courage and determination paved the way for the America we know and love.
But let us also look to the future, for the work of building a better America is far from over. We face many challenges, but we are a resilient people. Together, we can overcome any obstacle and create a brighter future for generations to come.
On this day, let us come together as one nation, united by our shared values and common purpose. Let us celebrate the diversity that makes us strong, the freedom that makes us proud, and the hope that makes us persevere.
As we light the fireworks and wave our flags, let us remember that the true spirit of the Fourth of July lies not in the celebrations, but in the principles that bind us together. Liberty, justice, and the pursuit of happiness for all.
And as we strive for our future, let us never forget our past!
Happy Fourth of July, my fellow Americans. May God bless you, and may God bless the United States of America."
William ended his speech as cheers erupted from the city and many other zones that were under the Control of the Enclave, with the words "USA!" being chanted over and over as fireworks and gunfire rang in the air. the Enclave Air Force, considering of Vertibirds, V-40 Trojans, CH70-Osprays, F-64 Falcons, and I-34 Interceptors flew overhead, spraying Red, White, and Blue Smoke in the air as the Patton-class airship, Macarthur-class airship, and the Roosevelt-class Flying Battleship shows off their power by firing confetti out of their cannons.
