WHO'S IS IT?

A failed attempt :(

Sorry for the verrryyyyy long wait gys!!! so without further due i'll get on with the chapter!

Chapter 5

Standing out side the ladies room, I tried to come up with several applogetic stratergies whilst keeping an eye out for her until she finally cameout after 19 girls left.

NotIcing me at the door, she cursed her luck as she continued to walk in the opposite direction.

Chasing after her, I called out.

"Hey!......Waitup!"

Holding her from the elbow, I continued

"Hey. I'm really sorry for what happened back there. It was just a harmless dare" I was cut off as she interrupted.

"Harmless? You call this..." indicating to her now damp clothes with her hand "...harmless? Well, thanks to your 'harmless' joke I'm now damp!"

"Ur... it was a dare. Not a joke" I corrected her only to have her release a furstrated sign as she looked at me unbelievingy.

"Besides, it wasn't ment for you. You shouldn't have taken the coke"

"Oh, I 'm so sorry, I didn't know taking things from friends is against the rules. I'll note that down.Thanks for telling me!" OK - so I just found out that she is one sarcastic girl. This going to be difficult.

"That's not what I mean." Turning around, she waited for my explanation - one which I did not have.

"I mean to say...urr..that this was just a little...you know...urr...a friendly...dare thing...just for fun. Look, I'm sorry, I didn't think of the conciquences of this dare and I guess it got a little too much. So, do you forgive me?"

I used her thinking time to memorise her feautures as I noticed her straight, golden, soft hair ended at her waist and her emerald eyes glistened as she chose to end that moment by forgiving showing me her beautifull smile and replying

"Ok. I forgive you."

"Really? Thanks"

"But don't do it again - to anyone"

"Cross my heart and hope to die." I exaggerated.

"So, lets start again. Hi I'm Aiden." Holding out my hand, I wished she would comply with me.

"I'm Emerald. Nice to meet you Aiden" She smiled and shook my hand.

"Emerald. Just like your eye colour. It's beautiful." Blushing slightly, she released her hand and continued excused herself, leaving me standing in the hallway, smiling to myself until...

"Hellooooooooo. Earth to Aiden.Earth to Aiden."

A hand waved in front of me, calling me back to earth as I noticed the twins standing in front of me, eyes asking the unspoken question. Sighing, I told them I'll tell them later as we headed back out to eat.

"Hey!"

Its been a week now and I'm glad to say that my friendship with Emerald was going great. I spoted her in the study area and decided to talk with her. For some unknown reason, she has managed to occupy my mind in everything I do and I can't leave her alone.

"Oh No!" she exclaimed whilst rolling her eyes and tried to concentrate on her revision notes.

"Hey, I hope you know you just hurt me"

"I was ment to hurt you"

"Ouch. You hurt our friendship" I foreign hurt.

"When were we friends anyway?"

"Now that is passing the line"

"Uh-huh.And...?"

"And...you really wound me you know" Smiling at me she calmy replied

"I know" and continued with her work.

"So, what are you doing?" I asked even though it was obvious she was revising. Great, I garanti she thinks I'm a fool now and my prediction became true when she glanced me a like-you-don't-know- look.

"Ofcourse, your revising" I desperately wanted to out with her yet I didn't know how to ask her out.

"Well, d.d.do you want to go out?"

Without looking up she instantley replied "No"

"How about you let me buy you some hot chocolate?"

I didn't know why I was so eager for her to be with me but I did know that I had to be with her. After the coke incident, my eyes would always be searching for her even when she tries to get rid of me, or when she changes direction when she noties me. I really wanted get to know her so I started to follow her around when ever I see her in the building although I can tell she finds it very annoying.

"Do you even have some fun or do yo only revise all the time?" I wondered aloud.

"What are you trying to say? I'm a boring person?" I guess hit a nerve of hers. Well, this just gave me a really good plan.

"You said it yourself- not me" I joked with her as I put my hands in the air to defendmyself.

"I DO have fun okay, infact, I only study here because once I'm out of this building, all I ever do is have FUN!" she verifies. Acting like I don;t believe her, I challenge her with a smirk

"Prove it"

She thinks for a few minuites before replying "How?"

Thinking that know was my chance to ask her, I replied "Hot chocolate?"

Suddenly, she began to laugh whilst I looked at her awed and amused. When she calmed down, she smiled and stated "Nice try, but I'm not that daft" Understanding that my cover was blown I couldn't help but curse

"Damn, well it was worth a try"

"Yeah, but it was unsuccessfull" and with that said, she once again left the area leaving me behind. Spotting Xavier who must have witnessed her turning me down, the thought that stood out in my head was

"Great. Now the twins would want to know what happened."
