My mind was spinning like crazy as I sat next to my brother. Instead of being taken to a normal airport, the driver had taken us to what looked like a private airport where he pulled up beside a private jet. My heart raced fast in my chest as I got out of the limo and went to the other side to get my brother out. "Have a safe journey" the driver said waving at us. "Thanks, we will" I replied. As I was left there holding my brother in my arms, I couldn't help but wonder how wealthy these people were. This Ruwen person must own a private jet and let someone he bearly knows use it.

As soon as me and Colton stepped onto the private jet, I was shocked by what I saw. The interior surpassed my meaning of luxury by 10fold. The seats were like big cozy sofas, and they even had what seemed to be a juice bar and snack table. I was taking in my surroundings when I was caught off guard by the arrival of a woman that was wearing a name tag that said Julia "Hello Ms. Katelynn, I'm Manlo and I'll be your flight attendant for the next 20 hours as we travel to China. Also please don't feel afraid to ask for assistance if you need it," she said with a polite grin before leaving me to do my own thing. I then took a seat near a window and Colton decided to take a seat next to me.

I then remembered the USB I found in my mom's backpack and began searching through the backpack for it. I eventually found it and plugged it into my computer to see a file that was labeled "explanation" I then clicked on it and a video popped up and I then hit play.

"Hello gorgeous, if you are viewing this, you are either looking through my stuff again like usual or I am sadly dead. If me being dead is the case I have some important news to tell you," My mom said as her voice trembled. "Your real father is a part of the royal family which makes you a princess but his family are also assassins," my mother said which shocked me. "I met your real father Haoyu at a high school dance when I was 18. We fell in love as soon as we saw each other and we soon started dating. Before I knew it we got married and I ended up pregnant with your eldest brother Yichen. After that, I gave birth to 5 more children including you" my mom stated.

"Everything was going well until I overheard your grandfather, your father, and a few possible allies were having a business meeting about arranging a marriage for you, but I wasn't going to let that happen. So I confronted them and informed them that I would not be getting put into an arranged marriage when you couldn't even say I do yet. But of course, they wouldn't listen to me and continued to demand that you would get married when you turned 17. So I quickly made the decision to flee with you to my parents so you would have a better life."

The screen then faded to black leaving me to take in everything she just told me. I was overcome with so many emotions but mostly sadness. I eventually decided to take a nap on the plane as I didn't want to deal with this new information much longer.

I was soon gently shaken awake and when I turned to see who it was I saw the flight attendant "Hello Ms. Katelynn, I'm sorry to walk you but the plane has just landed," the flight attendant said. "Oh alright" I replied slightly tired. I then collected mine and Colton's things and we then exited the plane to see a driver waiting for us who appeared to be in his 50s.

"Hello, Ms. Liu I'm Zixin the driver your family." The man said as he greeted us warmly. As I began looking around for my oldest brother I realized he was nowhere to be found. "Umm please call me by the last name I prefer which is Baxter, also where is my brother, why isn't he here to pick me up no offense Zixen". I said as I buckled Colton into the back seat.

"Non taken Ms. Baxter, well you see Mr. Liu had some work to take care of, but I assure you that you will meet him when he gets home tonight" Zixen explained as I slid into the back seat and Zixen then started the car.

As the car pulled up to mine and my brother's new home, I couldn't help but marvel at the sight before me. What I initially thought was a gated community turned out to be a fucking palace which I knew was coming but it still shocked me.

We then stopped at a large gate and Zxien turned to look toward me "Okay Ms. Baxter the code to let yourself in is 0528" Zxien explained. "Alright, thanks I said as I opened the car door. I then got out and went to the other side and got Colton out and headed over to the gate as Zxien drove away. I then typed in the pin and the gate opened. I then took Colton's hand and walked up the path that led to the front door of the palace.

I then grabbed the door handle and tried to turn it but it was locked. I tried a few more times but the lock wouldn't budge. "Can you guys open the fucking door" I yelled as I was pounding on the door frustrated.

As I was about to just sit and wait I got an idea and began hoping that this door was set up the same as normal doors. I reached into my hair and pulled out two bobby pins and bent one of them and made the other one completely flat. I then inserted the bent one first and as I inserted the flat one I began jiggling it around as I began trying to line up the pins. After a few seconds, I heard a click of the door unlocking.

I then took the bobby pins and put them into my pocket and opened the door. But as I opened the door another person was standing right there. And to both of our shock, we had an uncanny resemblance to each other
