The scent surrounds him like a warm embrace but he wanted to run and hide. Memories of the fights he had with others of his own kind again flood his mind. He whimpers as he hides behind a tree. The scent was getting stronger moving back he sulked to the ground in hopes of not being seen. Picking up a beautiful white clump of flowers hoping to show he meant no harm. He couldn't run so he could only hope for the best outcome. Avoiding her gaze as she crested the hillside.

She seemed to move around him in a curious manner. Thankfully she showed no signs of aggression only curiousness. He avoided her gaze at all cost looking everywhere but at her. His mouth parted and a friendly call left his parted jaws. Flowers were placed down on the ground close by. She seemed a bit shy as well as if he might attack her. But that was the last thing on his mind. He didn't want to fight anymore. Fighting brought pain, death and injury. Something he was reminded of every single night he slept. Often he wondered if the nightmares would go away.

But right now was not the time to think about it.. The female continues to circle him and he avoided her gaze at all costs. Submitting to her was the only safe way to ensure he didn't seem threatening. His heartbeat was pounding in his chest as he expected any moment to be attacked by her. Offering soft gentle calls to her every couple minutes. Finally she returned his soft calls...she wasn't going to attack him. He couldn't help the soft sigh of relief that exited his maw. A couple of times he caught her not look at him and he himself would catch a glance at her.

He thought she was beautiful even covered in the scars of her life. Suddenly she stood up and began to walk away. After a few feet away she paused and looked back offering him a beckoning call. He took that as a sign to follow her. Standing up his heart beat finally returning back to normal. He began to follow her. They began to move back towards crater. Both filling up on water and food. Making sure that she got her fill before he began eating. Thinking of her as the alpha female already.

Suddenly his head went up as a dark cloud of suffocating smoke filled the Crater. The sky lit ablaze with orange as if the sky was on fire. It was so thick they could barely see. Reina the female Allo let out a terrifying roar as she took off. Lucky did his best to keep up with her as they tried to escape the threat. He fell behind a couple of times with him not being able to run. Finally she managed to lead them both to the safety of her own den. High up on a snow white cliff her den lay nestled behind some rocks. He let her slip inside to sleep as he laid down outside.
