Lucky was resting on the cliff over looking White Cliffs. A strange and unfamiliar scent carried itself through the wind. Right where Lucky was sitting and looking out for any signs of his family. He kept moving his head trying to spot the sources of the scent. Something moved in the distance and he stood up. Lowering himself down into a crouch trying to hide himself. The wind whipped around him again like a tornado sending the strangers scent to him but also carrying his scent to it. It was Allosaurus like himself but a complete stranger. Fear gripped him like a vice, as Allos are known to be cannibals to their own species.

Had Reina's scent disappeared that much that another would take its place? She had begun to come up hill towards him. Leaving him feeling cornered by his surroundings. Moving away from the entrance to the oasis he waited using his camouflage to blend in with the bushes. From the scent she carried he knew it was female. She didn't look like Reina so he knew it wasn't her. She walked over to the rich water the oasis provided and began to drink her fill. Yet he knew that she knew that he was close by. Standing up from his hiding spot he looked at her closely. Giving her space he decided to move a bit closer to get a better look.

She let out a nervous call a few times. Backing away from him and keeping her distance. He realized that she was just as nervous as him about this interaction. Lowering himself to the ground he offered her submissiveness. Once she realized he wasn't going to hurt her she laid down. Slipping past her he headed down the path down the hill. He knew that a bit of food offered would help ease her discomfort. He wasn't much of a hunter but he could definitely catch small critters.

Searching for a burrow that littered the area he began to dig. Disturbing the den until the large lizard appeared. It screamed its fear before running away. With one powerful well aimed snap of his jaws Lucky secured his prey. Picking it up he turned around to find her standing right behind him. He almost ran as he trembled with a bit of fear. Lowering himself into a submissive posture he creeps forward. Laying his prize in front of her.

Moving a safe distance away so she could eat his prize and offering. She ate every bite after eyeing it well. Once finished she gave him the signal he so desperately wanted hear. A soft cooing call, a call of acceptance. He relaxed a lot and waited for her to lead. She was the alpha of the pack and her acceptance created a new bond where he didn't feel so empty and lonesome. His only want and desire was to find his chick now. But he often wondered if he would ever find him again...
