   "This is a bad idea." J'onn says as he follows Clark up the walkway to his parent's house.

   "No way was I going to leave you alone on the Watchtower alone on Christmas Eve. Besides, Batman practically begged for monitor duty. You'll love it, trust me." Clark says as he gets to the door and knocks. The door is immediately opened by his mother who greet him with a wide smile.

   "Clark!" Clark's mother, Martha, says happily as she and his father embraced him in a hug.

   "Mom, Pa! Merry Christmas!" Clark says and accepts the hugs gratefully.

   "Have you been eating dear? You look thin." Martha says and crosses her arms.

   "Oh, Ma." Clark says somewhat embarrassed.

   "It's good to have you home son." Johnathon says while giving his son a fatherly pat on the chest.

   "It's good to be back, and I brought a friend." Clark says excitedly.

   "Hello, Mister and Missus Kent. I hope I am not intruding. Super- Uh, Clark was most insistent I join you for the holiday. My name is J'onn I'm a Martian." J'onn says awkwardly only to be brought into the house and greeted by warmth.

   "Oh, we're no strangers to aliens in this house. You just make yourself at home." Johnathon says while he and Martha happily guide him into the livingroom.

   "That reminds me. Where is Kara?" Clark asks curiously.

   "Skiing with Barbara. She'll be home for New Years." Martha tells Clark.

   "Well, as long as she's not here you can have her room." Clark says and J'onn raises a brow skeptically. Clark starts to lead him upstairs to the bedrooms when the sound of a door upstairs slamming open sounds.

   "Ma, Pa is that Clark I hear?" A female voice calls from upstairs and Clark smiles and quickly goes up the stairs.

   "I don't know. What do you think?" Clark asks and thank God he can fly because soon he's tackled into a hug by a flash of (h/c) hair and a red and green jumper.

   "AHHH! I'm so happy to see you!" The girl says loudly and happily. J'onn stands at the bottom of the stairs next to Martha and Johnathon.

   "(Y/n) let Clark get his friend situated then you can smother him in hugs." Martha jokingly scolds and the girl, (Y/n), lets Clark go. The next view J'onn has is beautiful (e/c) eyes, with (s/c) skin and a pair of thick-rimmed glasses sitting on her face.

   "Oh..." She says as a faint blush spreads over her cheeks and a bashful chuckle escapes her lips. "Sorry... I'm (Y/n)." She says and goes down the stairs and offers her hand to shake.

   "I'm J'onn." J'onn says and shakes her hand, a small smile quirks the side of his mouth for a split second. (Y/n) jumps once in excitement and turns to Clark.

   "Is he staying in Kara's room since she's gone for Christmas?" (Y/n) asks and Clark nods. (Y/n) tugs J'onn up the stairs and Clark shakes his head.
