3rd POV

It had been 2 weeks since your miscarriage happened... 2 weeks. In those weeks your husband, Bruce Wayne, has tried everything he could to make you feel better, but it seemed that nothing helped. He had tried everything from bringing your family to see you, to taking you to go look to see if any babies were up for adoption. Still none of it worked... Until one day a good friend of yours from High School came to town. He texted you saying that he and his family were in town with the Circus, and that he wanted you to see him perform. Of course you and John Grayson went way back, and you hadn't seen him or his wife in a long time. It wasn't hard to convince Bruce to go to see The Haly's Circus act. Asking him if he wouldn't mind getting there sooner to beable to see an old friend before the show. He agreed seeing as how this was the first time in weeks that you wanted to go out somewhere.

(Y/n)'s POV

"Bruce I was wandering if I could ask a favor of you?" You asked as you walked into his office at Wayne Enterprises.
"Yes. What is it?" He responded putting down the paperwork he was working on clearly surprised that you left the house willingly.
"A friend of mine works for The Haly's Circus and I was wandering if we could possibly go to see their act tonight? Possibly get there sooner so that you can meet them?"
Bruce's face broke out into a smile. "Of course. Anything for you, my love." You smiled brightly.
"Thank you so much Bruce!" You kissed him and left the office quickly heading for the Manor to find just the right outfit for the evening.

~Timeskip to Haly's Circus~

As you and Bruce arrived to the Circus early you quickly went and found the owner to find out where your friends were.
"Hello you must me Mr.Haly?" You asked the older shorter gentleman.
"Why yes.. Yes I am. You must be Mr. and Mrs. Wayne. It's nice to meet you two. Now why have you come to my Circus?" You smiled.
"Well a couple of old friends of mine are in your Circus. They're the Graysons your trapeze artists, and I was wandering if I could get pointed in their direction so that I could go and see them?" The owner smiled and motioned down a hallway.
"They're in their trailer outback getting prepared for this evening. Would you like me to show you the way?"
"No sir we can find our way from here." Bruce followed you down the hall towards the door that lead outback. There you saw a small trailer with the lights on inside. You walked up to the door and knocked your secret code knock to John. He opened the door not even a second later and enveloped you in a bone crushing hug.
"(Y/n) it's so good to see you again! It's been what 5 years? You remember little Richard right?" You nodded anxiously. "Well he's not so little anymore!" He laughed, "Where are my manners come on in and introduce us to your mystery man!" You stepped in with Bruce right behind you, and Richard instantly hugged your legs. You dropped down and hugged him back.
"Aunt (Y/n) it's been forever! Where have you been?"
"Well Richard I've been running my business and trying to start a family of my own so that you could have little cousins to play with."
"Really? Could I teach them some of my moves?" He smiled brightly and jumped once with enthusiasm.
"Maybe when they're older hun. Richard this is Bruce Wayne my husband." He stick his hand out for Bruce to shake.
"It's nice to meet you Mr. Wayne." You stepped over to John.
"I've just recently had a miscarriage so this is a little therapeutic for me." Mary put her hand on my shoulder and gave me a sympathetic smile.
"Things will get better (Y/n). You can always try again. I'm just happy that you're staying strong through this most marriages fail after a miscarriage."

        ~Timeskip to their act~

"Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Now is the act of The Flying Graysons!" It started with Mary swinging from one side where Richard was to the side where John was. Then John swinging to the other side to Richard. Their act continuously got more and more impressive, then they started to swing over to the side to get their son in on the act... But right as their hands were about to reconnect the equipment snapped and they fell to their deaths on the ground. You rushed to the floor to see if there was a pulse, but there wasn't.
"MOM!! DAD!!" You gasped and looked up to see Richard standing only a couple of feet away. Then reality seemed to set in with the poor child and he rushed to his mothers side and lifted her to try to wake her up... But to no avail. He started crying and then made eye contact with you and he ran into your arms. "I don't know what to do!" He buried his face into your shoulder and started crying again.
"Don't worry Dickie Bird Bruce and I will take care of you." You picked him up and carried him over to Bruce who was still stunned at the whole ordeal. He then looked down to the small 8 year old boy in your arms. Understanding that you couldn't just let him go into the horrible system of foster homes. It was then that you made a silent agreement to adopt this poor boy. "Hey Rich-"
   "Please call me Dick?"
"Okay Dickie Bird do you mind if Bruce and I adopt you? I know that we can't replace your parents, but we can try our hardest." His only response was a nod of the head, and he refused to be let go the rest of the night. You and Bruce spent that evening trying to console Dick.

      ~12 Years Later~

You stood watching your son pack his bags to move to Bludhaven. He and Bruce has gotten into a rather big argument which lead to the situation you were in now. You had been through many adoptions and one rather large tragedy, but this took the cake on your sadness. He turned and saw you in the door way with tears in his eyes, and you couldn't help but see the little boy that you adopted 12 years ago. At that point you could no longer hold in the tears, and just let them flow. You opened your arms for him to come hug you, and he gladly accepted the hug.
"I'm gonna come back for the holidays Mom. Don't worry about me okay? I'll be fine."
"I just don't want to see my baby go. I've already lost one of my boys I can't lose another."
"Mom I'm still alive.. Still breathing." He grabbed your hand and put it over his heart where you could feel the steady thump of his heart beating. "You can visit when you want, and I'll come and see you as often as I can. Just please you gotta understand I can't stay here forever." You nodded in understanding.
"I know, but it's like when you went to college all over again. Dickie Bird there's something I've been wanting to tell you for a while now.." He looked at you curiously. "I'm scared." He cocked his head to the side in confusion.
"Why?" You sat down on his now bare bed and he sat down next to you.
"Dick I'm pregnant. We know how my last pregnancy went. I'm terrified that this one won't go the way I want it to. I was relying on you for support, and I still am."
"Mom... That's great! You and Bruce are strong you can get through this together! You have me, Bruce, Tim and Alfred! There's no need to worry. This will go the way you want, because now you know what it takes to make it through this. Just take a deep breath and remember that you are the strongest woman that any of us have met and known. This kid is going to be the best kid alive.. I hope you know I'm gonna spoil the hell out of this kid right? Whether it's a boy or a girl this child is going to be happy, healthy, and very very very smart. You run a multimillion dollar publishing business and Bruce well not only does he run a multi billion dollar enterprise, but he is the worlds greatest detective right next to you of course. You got this. My taxi should be here by now Mom, and I just really want you to know that I am here for you. Whenever you need me I'll be here." He leaned over and kissed your forehead and you cling to him like your life depended on it.
"Thank you Dickie Bird. If only Jay Bird could see you now. He'd be proud that you put your foot down to your father. Just promise me you'll stay safe over in Bludhaven?"
"Yes ma'am." He gave you one last hug goodbye then walked down the hall. Even with his back turned all you saw was the little boy who just put on the Robin costume and was starting a new adventure in his life. It made you proud to beable to see him grow. There was one little secret you had never told your boys. You could see and talk to the dead, and right now John and Mary stood by your side watching their son start his own life. You had not seen Jason since a few weeks after his death, but the last thing he said to you was that you were the best thing to happen in his life. You let your hands fall to your small baby bump, and thought of Dicks words then smiled. You ran to the small bowl you kept your car keys in then left for Wayne Enterprises. You walked to Bruce's office with a small box wrapped in red wrapping paper. Inside was your pregnancy test and a T-shirt that said 'Who's about to be a dad? This Guy!' With two thumbs pointing to his chest. You put the test under the shirt so then it would be a better surprise. His assistant Nancy saw you coming down the hall and quickly tried to pretend like she was actually doing her job.
"Mrs.Wayne it's good to see you! He in his office and he's not currently in a meeting with anyone so go on in! Oh a present is it your anniversary or something?"
"Something like that. Thank you Nancy." You took the last few steps to Bruce's office door and opened it. Bruce sat at his desk reading a pile of papers deep in thought with a straight face on. He heard the door close and saw you standing at the door. He smiled and got up from his seat.
"No no babe. You'll want to sit down for this." He sat back down and watched as you walked closer to him. That was when he noticed the red wrapped box in your hands. You smiled at him then at the box and handed it to him. He looked at it skeptically then at you.
"Did I forget our anniversary or my birthday or your birthday?" You smiled and shook your head. He unwrapped the box from the paper and looked at you again, then opened the box the rest of the way. He pulled the shirt out and read the text on it and his eyes went wide. That's when he saw the pregnancy test inside the box. He threw them down and hugged you with all his might. "I can't believe it! We're having a baby?!" He then knelt I front of your tummy and starting whispering to the baby. "How far along are you?"
"2 and a half months. Bruce I can't wait to try to do this again. Dick helped me realize that I was putting too much pressure on my own shoulders and I couldn't help but tell you now. I love you Bruce."
"I love you too." He kissed you then something caught his eye. A man in a red helmet and a brown jacket grappling through away from Wayne Enterprises. You stepped closer to the wall window he has in his office and watched the figure retreat across the road.
