'Splash'

Haerin didn't hesitate to dive into and swim in the middle of the pool, where a curly-haired girl was struggling as she was drowning. It took the feline nearly five minutes to bring her up to the pool patio and realize she was unconscious. As she told everyone to step aside and give the drowned girl some air to breathe, Haerin then closed her cat eyes and leaned down to give the unconscious CPR.

The feeling of their cold and wet lips brushing against one another made Haerin almost forget her main task of saving people as a lifeguard. She performed CPR while pressing on the unconscious girl's milky white chest in repetitiveness. Soon, the girl coughed out all the water she had drunk and faintly opened her eyes.

And that was how Kang Haerin happened to know her wife.

"Excuse me, can I have your number?"

Mo Jihye, after being saved by Haerin, insisted on following her around the pool as she wanted to return the favor. The feline tried to tell her that it was her duty and she was the lifeguard there. If it weren't for her but someone else, she would also have dive into the pool like that.

However, the curly-haired didn't take that as a reasonable response. She kept following Haerin curiously around the pool like a small poodle, making so many people glanced at them in an odd way.

As if that didn't draw so much attention!

Just imagine, all of a sudden, there was a beautiful and extra hot girl in a yellow two-piece bikini showing off her gorgeous body, also with that pretty face of hers which looked like a wheedling puppy; how could that not draw any attention? Some asked her why her girlfriend was so beautiful yet she left her. Others said that she was such a bitch as she was too proud to admit that she liked the girl. Err... gossips, that was so unjust to Haerin as it made her sound like a notorious playgirl!

Since when did saving drowning people become a sin?

The person in front stopped, Jihye didn't notice and hit her face into Haerin's back. She pouted and rubbed her forehead as she fell on her butt to the ground. "Uhm, why did you suddenly stop?"

Haerin was going to see red. However, as she turned around and saw the scene in front of her cat eyes, who was she to speak loudly towards the tiny poodle? The feline found her adorable, too adorable to be exact, as if she didn't leave any cuteness to other human beings to have.

Clearing her voice, she grabbed her towel nearby and wrapped it around the curly-haired girl's skinny frame. "You should go home, I'm still on duty."

"Do you hate me that much?" Jihye's face fell into a sad frown, her eyes glittered, causing Haerin to feel her cheeks heating up.

She waved her hand in denial. "It's not like that." If there was one thing that Haerin was most afraid of, probably seeing girls cry.

"So why... did you keep shooing... me away all the time?" The puppy-like snorted as she let out a small sniff.

"Err..." Haerin scratched her head, glanced around and saw that no one was paying attention to them, so she dared to pat the curly-haired girl's shoulder and made up a reason to soothe her.

"Because if you keep following me, my captain would assume I did something that upset you and would fire me." After saying that, Haerin didn't understand why she had to be so gentle with her.

Was she her best friend? Not at all.

Was she her lover? Also a big NO!.

So why did Haerin have to be so gentle with her? She didn't know, probably because she was beautiful. And the feline had always worshiped beautiful women.
