Chapter 2

The next day

"Wow, you look so gorgeous in that dress!" Rose's colleagues praise her by looking into her photos of the previous night's event party.

"Beauty is in the eyes of beholder" Rose chuckles.

"Well, that's true in fact. But trust me, If I am a boy then definitely I would marry you at any cost" Teena says.

"Oh, then what about me?" Another colleague Jack frowns.

"Jackky! You will be single till you are old"

Everyone laughs

"Guys, stop it!" Rose interrupts them and takes her phone from Teena's hand.

All of them have stopped and raised their hands. Everyone had gone to their seats to work.

Teena playfully stares at Rose.

"What?" Rose asks her

"Whoever is going to marry you, he is very lucky" Teena replies.

"Lucky? Why so?"

"Yes, because you are such a sweetheart" She hugs her.

"Teena please stop it! I don't want to get married" Rose hugs her back.

"What? Are you serious?" Teena gasps.

"Yes, I am damn serious about it" Rose groans.

"Well, I am having a headache. I should get a coffee and you are coming with me" Teena immediately grabs her wrist, forcing her to go cafeteria with her.

"Oh, god! Please save this child" Teena murmurs to herself while pressing the 5th floor button.

Rose sighs.

"Well, it's your life. I am no one to judge you" Teena confesses.

"Thank you" Rose smiles.

"Sir, Everything is in the report. You can view them in your free time" John, Artemis's Personal Assistant says while handing over the big file to Artemis.

No response from Artemis.

"Sir?"

No response

"Sir?"

Again No response

"Excuse me, sir?" John calls again with a louder voice.

"Ugh, Yes Yes" Artemis came back from delusional.

"Sir, Every detail of Raymond company is there in this file. I suggest you to take a quick glance over this to decide better outcomes" John says with confusion on his face.

"Yeah, sure!" Finally Artemis gives a response.

"Are you okay, sir? It seems you are in another world" John suspects him.

"Well, it's nothing. I will give you my views about this file so that you can deliver my response to Raymond people" Artemis opens the file.

"Yes sir, I will be back within 2 min"

"Okay"

Artemis sighs and places the large file on his desk and goes back to dream about Rose. Few minutes back, He was thinking about the last night's event.

Her doll-like facial features and captivating slim figure. Everything is disturbing Artemis's mind.

Immediately his cabinet door opens.

John appears with a small tray of coffee and sugar.

Artemis goes back to read the file.
