Artemis's Devotion

Chapter 9

"You will have a peaceful and romantic married life" He reads aloud.

"Cool, Shall we leave?"She smiles a little and says.

"Do you have any brothers or sisters?" Rose asks him on the way to Vanderbilt Mansion.

"I have a long distant cousin, Ryan" 

"Oh, okay. Where does he live?"

"He lives in Russia"

"Okay, are you two close enough?"

"Yes, we are. We speak to each other at least thrice a week. What about you?"

"I don't have any" She frowns.

"Don't worry, I am there for you" He assures her.

She nods.

"Good evening, Mr. Vanderbilt and Mrs. Amatore" The maid greets them in the mansion.

"Good evening, Mrs. Bunman" They greet her back.

"Mrs. Amatore, there is a parcel for you in your bedroom" Mrs. Bunman says to Rose.

"Parcel? For me?"

Mrs. Bunman nods.

"Who sent it?"

"There is an empty address in the section"

"Okay, I will see it" She goes upstairs.

Likewise, Artemis goes upstairs to his bedroom.

There is a medium-sized black box with a purple color bow on it.

"Who sent this?" She opens it.

"It's a Custom portrait of mine, WOAH!!!!" She jumps around like a child.

It's a portrait of Rose, smiling beautifully.

There is a small note in the box.

It says Keep smiling beautiful, you are doing great :) 

She understands it.

KNOCK KNOCK

"Hey, have you seen the parcel? What's in there? I hope there is no bomb in it" He opens the door.

"Very funny" She enters his room.

"Do you like it?" He sits on the small one-person sofa.

"Very much, you drew this?" 

"Of course" He winks.

"You are a multi-talented person, Artemis" She falls on him.

"Oh my god" He laughs.

She hugs him tight and doesn't realize that her body is crushing him.

He hugs her back.

"You are my best friend" She kisses his cheek and breaks the hug.

"Really?" He gasps.

"Of course, any problem?"

"Nothing, you liked it. That's all I want" He says.

She nods and sees the portrait once again.

"Have you taken the tablets?" He reminds her.

"Oh no" She gasps.

He gives a death stare to her.

"Be cool, lion! I will be back after having the tablets" She runs to her room.

He shook his head and opened the laptop.

"She kissed me" He touches his cheek to feel her kiss.

"Where have I kept my medicines box?" She searches for the medicine box.
