The official Star Wars Website has a wonderful collection of recipes and designs. There's something for everyone, mostly sweet, with the occasional savory between the pastries.

We're absolute suckers for these adorable BB-9E hanging mug cookies. The blue milk recipe can be found a bit further down the list. Perhaps blue spiced eggnog (with an extra shot of rum for good measure) will suffice rather than blue milk.
The icing is basic. You can find different textures and mixtures all over the internet. If you decide on another icing that does not have meringue powder and it tastes too buttery or too vanilla for your liking, try adding a few drops of almond extract. We use it for our cupcakes. It also covers that "dye" taste. Remember, you can always add too little, but when adding too much, there's no going back. Here's a tip for brightly saturated icing: Once mixed, microwave it for 5 seconds (sometimes 8 or 10 seconds), and then throw that bowl in the fridge for half an hour. Mix it again when you are ready to pipette it. Also, those plastic pipette bags can be washed and reused a few more times. Don't throw them away!
