CLEO LOOKED BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN HER BROTHER AND JESSICA "LEAVE HIM ALONE" SHE SAID, Jessica shot a glare at her

"Mind your fucking business"

"Jessica shut up and get the fuck out !" Cleo snapped

"Miss Jensen" the teacher called, Jessica stormed out of the class, Cleo remembered Jessica's tape and she had a good memory.

"I met Jessica a couple of weeks into sophomore year" Hannah's voice rang in her head "apparently we needed to be counseled."

When class was over, Cleo followed Clay to her class, their class was next to each other, she frowned when Sheri walked up to Clay, the two teens stopped at Clay's locker.

Cleo turned to her locker, she suddenly felt her head spin, she turned around and ran to the bathroom, when she walked in one of the stalls she immediately put her head in the toilet and gag left her mouth as she threw up, she sat on the dirty floor, tears running down her face, she put her hands on her mouth to stop a sob from escaping it, she quickly got up when the door of the bathrooms swung open, she flushed the toilet and stormed out of the stall, she didn't look up at the person as she washed her face and walked out of the bathroom.

When she walked out her eyes fell on Clay who was lying on the floor, the boy quickly got up and looked back, Cleo followed his gaze, the jocks were walking away, their chuckles filling up the hallway. Cleo took the walkman on the floor, she turned the other way when her eyes fell on Mr. Porter. The man called out to her, making her turn around.

"It's yours?" he asked

"No, of course not, it's in my hands for show " the girl answered in a sarcastic tone, the man disregarded it as he let out a chuckle.

"Haven't seen one of these in a long time" he said

"I might give to you one day" the girl answered before handing the tape to her brother, she looked at the doors in the hallway, her gaze falling on Jessica who hurriedly turned the other way.

Cleo walked away when she saw her brother rush after Jessica, she sighed, she remembered Jessica, they used to be friends until Jessica started hanging out with the jocks.

When she arrived in front of her class the teacher stopped her, she glared at the man, he handed her a paper.

"You're wanted at the office" he said, Cleo took the paper

"Thanks" she mumbled before walking away, when she arrived Clay didn't take long to walk in the office too, the woman put two papers in front of the siblings. "What is that?" Cole asked

"Daily report, you two are on attendance alert starting this week" the woman answered, Cleo took the papers. "You need to make sure you're marked present by all of teachers and first two weeks they have to note your participation"

"Why are we on these?" Cleo asked "We both have perfect attendance" 

"Someone wants to make sure you keep it that way" the woman answered before going back in her computer, Cleo sighed as she started walking away before noticing Clay wasn't moving.

"I'm supposed to present a project with Justin Foley and he wasn't here for homeroom" he said, making Cleo frown "did he have a late admit?" he asked

"I can't release information on another student" the woman answered. The doors opened, hitting Cleo in the process, Alex looked at her before mumbling an apology.
