COLE WAS LYING ON HER BED WHEN A KNOCK WAS HEARD ON THE DOOR,  SHE LET OUT A GRUNT AS SHE SAT UP

"YEAH?"

The door opened, revealing her dad, the man smiled at his daughter's sleepy face, he walked towards his daughter.

 "Hello, Cleo" he said, avoiding the nicknames, he knew the girl hated nicknames. "I talked to your mom about Clay's punishment" he said

"Why are you telling me this?" Cleo asked

"Because she established a rule, no more closed doors, literally" he said, earning the girl's sigh "and you two gotta start opening up to us"

The girl dropped on her bed "oh bloody hell" she said, earning her dad's chuckle

"Get ready for school and no big spread this morning, it's just us so" he added before walking out of the room, Cleo sighed as she got up from her bed——

Cleo bursted in Clay's room, earning the boy's scream, Cleo bursted out laughing as she fixed her blond braids,  she turned around, showing off her dress, her red shoes hitting the floor. She was dressed as Annabelle for Halloween.

"Seriously? Annabelle?"

"For the costume contest" she answered "you're not doing it?"

"How could i participate to that with everything going on?" Clay asked "And you dressed up as Annabelle?"

When she arrived at school with her brother, Clay spotted Tyler in the hallway, Cleo sighed in exhaustion when he started running after the boy, she stood behind, when Clay caught up to her,  he was with Alex.

"I did research about what he did and..."

"We?" Cleo said "there's no we, we're not gonna do anything"

"You should be very careful about who you talk to" Alex added before getting interrupted by the jocks, Cleo let out a loud sigh.

"Nice work last night, buddy, you hold your booze" Bryce complimented before looking at Cleo "Annabelle?" he questioned, the girl's face was twisted in disgust as she looked at him, she couldn't stand seeing his face. Not after Jessica's party.

"I bet he puked like a bitch" Zach added

"Fuck you , Dempsey. You puked on three wine coolers last weekend"

"Yeah because there was strawberry, i'm allergic" he said, Bryce turned to the siblings

"I'm having an Halloween thing at my place, super small, tou should come" he said "Alex will be there"

"No thanks" Cleo said

"She means we'll think about" Clay corrected 

"I mean no, i won't come"

"Why, you got something else to do tonight?" Bryce asked

"Not that it's any of your business..." 

"How about french?" Tony asked, as he suddenly put his hand on Clay's shoulder "Madam Steinberg, you needed help with your homework"

"Why would i need your help?" Clay asked before Tony pressed his shoulder "yeah sure, whatever"

The bell suddenly rang, Cleo walked away.
