When we were done playing it was me, ham, smalls, and Benny all walking down the street.
Ham told smalls that he would show him more tomorrow and he walked off leaving it to be just me, Benny, and smalls.
"See ya man 8 o'clock tomorrow." Benny said walking the same way as me.
I found out there that Benny and I were neighbors so we walked the exact same way to get home.
"Benny wait your glove!" Smalls called after him and me and Benny both stoped.
"Keep it man." He said walked again.
"Thanks!" Smalls said running well kinda skipping to his house.
"Smalls." Benny called running towards him I just walked to my house.
"Hey dad!" I called entering.
"Hey champ!" He said from his office. "You make any friends?" He asked.
"Yes. Actually. A whole baseball team." I said and got a water.
"Boys?" He asked.
"Yup." I said taking t drink from my water bottle.
"Are any of um cute." He said.
"Dad!" I yelled.
"What-what I'm just curious to see who my kiddo's future boyfriend is." He said.
"Dad!" I yelled again.
"Okay okay, I'll stop." He said.
"Thank you." I said. There was then a knock on my door. "I'll get it." I said walking towards it.
"I'm coming to." My dad said behind me and I rolled my eyes.
I opened the door and saw Benny there.
"Hey Benny whats up?" I asked.
"Just wanted to tell you tomorrow 8 o'clock tomorrow... be at sandlot." He said waving a bit towards my dad.
"Ok I'll be there." I said shutting the door some so my dad wasn't seen anymore. "Thanks." I said.
"No problem y/n." He said winking and walking towards his house.
I stared out the door at him for a moment then shut the door.
"Soooo who's that?" My dad asked.
"Benny he's like the best player on the team." I said starting my way upstairs.
"Now I know who my daughter's future boyfriend issss." He said walking toward his office.
"Dad no! He's just a friend!" I yelled to him.
"I'm sure he is." He said.
"He is! I think" I mumbled the last part under my breath.
"What was that?" My dad asked.
"Nothing!" I said and I ran up to my room.
I got changed into my pajamas...
