I ran back to the treehouse and I didn't see them there so I jogged over to the sandlot and I saw them.
They were looking around and I ran up and smiled.
"Looking for something?" I asked and the boys jumped and Benny only jumped a little.
"For you." He stated and I chuckled.
"Ok base up guys." I said looking down to hide my blush.
"Ohhhh someone's blushing." Kenny said.
"Yeah yeah you totally are." Yeah-yeah said.
"Shut up and base up you blockheads." I said walking away.
"Dude she totally likes you" Kenny said to Benny.
"Shut up Kenny!" I called to him.
"Whatever. Yeah-yeah, squints can you too go buy a baseball we need it." Benny said and they agreed and ran off.
We all sat there for what felt like an eternity before they got back.
"Im sweeting my balls of here" I said and everyone looked at me. "Don't look at me like that you know what I mean." I said.
"How much longer till they get back?" Kenny asked.
"I don't know it shouldn't have took them this long in the first place." I said.
Then soon later they both ran over towards us and I stood up.
"Where you guys been we've been waiting here forever already." Benny said walking towards them some.
"Aw, squints was Pervin' a dish." Yeah-yeah said.
"Shut up I wasn't." Squints said going to sit down.
"Yeah yeah you were! Your tongue was hanging out of your head and you were swoonin." Yeah-yeah then mocked him. " 'oh Wendy Peffercorn, my darling lover girl.' " he said and chuckled.
"I said shut up! I've got a lot of things on my mind." Squints said sitting down beside me.
"This pop isn't working Benny." Ham said. "I'm baking like a toasted cheeser! It's so hot here!" He complained throwing his hat on the ground.
"It's 150 degrees out there. You can't play baseball." Squints said. "You have to call it for the day." He said at the same time that Bertram said...
"You gotta listen to him, Benny." Bertram said.
"Vote then." Benny started. "Anybody who wants to be... a 'can't hack it' pantywaist... who wears their mamas bra, raid your hand." He said and everyone raised there hand.
I even raised mine.
"That's saying a coming from the fact I'm the only one wearing a bra here." I said still raising my hand.
Everyone looked at me weirdly.
"What?! Don't look at me like I'm the weird one." I said. "Yall don't even have what I have!" I said standing up and walking beside Benny.
"Fine, fine, fine, be like that. So what are we gunna do?" Benny asked.
Everyone laughed except me and Benny.
"Scam pool honeys!" Everyone except me and Benny said.
I had told the boys I would meet them at the pool because I didn't have a swimsuit or anything so I had to go home real quick.

I got there and I saw Wendy walking out.
I wasn't amazing friends with her but I was pretty good friends with her so I went over and started talking to her while she walked to the lifeguard chair thing.
We were talking a lot she seemed happy and I was as well.
Benny pov
I was splashing smalls when I heard Kenny say something about someone walking with Wendy.
"Damn that girl walking with Wendy is smoken." Kenny said.
"Dude that's y/n." Bertram said.
Those words caught my attention I looked over and saw Wendy walking but she looked like nothing compared to how y/n looked right now.
"Yeah yeah she's hot." Yeah-yeah said and I glared at him.
"She's nothing compared to Wendy." Squints said.
"Are you kidding y/n looks like a fucking goddess and you're talking about Wendy?" I said then realized.
"Ohhh Bennys got a little crush?" Kenny said.
"Yeah yeah Benny boy likes y/n..." yeah-yeah said.
"Oh just shut up guys." I said.
3rd person pov
All of the boys then looked at Wendy, except Benny he was staring at y/n, and they all had their mouths slightly opened but squints mouth was wide open.
"Aw man." Kenny said.
"Yeah yeah too cruel." Yeah-yeah said.
"She don't know what she's doin." Timmy said.
"She don't know what she's doin." Tommy repeated.
"Yeah she does, she knows exactly what she's doing." Kenny said as y/n got in the pool and swam towards Benny.
"I've swum here every summer of my adult life." Squints said wiping his glasses. "And every summer, and every summer there she is, lotioning, oiling." He said.
Meanwhile y/n and Benny were both splashing each other and having fun behind the other distracted boys.
"I can't take this no more!" Squints said swiping over to the ladder. "Move!" He said pushing past Kenny.
"What's wrong with him?" Smalls asked and y/n and Benny both walked to the group Benny holding y/n's waist.
"What's he doing?" Ham asked.
Squints walked over towards the diving board on the deep end of the pool.
"Three summers of this I think he finally snapped." Kenny said.
"I don't know but that's the deep end and squints can't swim." Yeah-yeah said.
We saw him at the end of the diving board shivering and he took off his glasses and waved to Wendy who waved back.
He then giggled and jumped in.
Everyone in the sandlot group rushed over to help him they were all screaming 'no' and 'help him' and other things like his name and etc.
We ran and y/n was right beside Benny and when they got to where Wendy was pulling him up and y/n held Benny back some and she felt his arm go around her waist.
She felt a blush rise to her cheeks and she watched at everyone was saying things like 'come on squints' or 'please wake up squints' etc.
I was just intensely staring at him and I looked at Benny.
"He's faking it." Y/n said and they all saw squints smile at them.
Everyone said 'what?' Confused by what happened then he played dead again and the next time Wendy put her mouth of his for cpr he kissed her.
"Holy shit!" Y/n exclaimed backing up a little and Benny with her.
"Little pervert!" Wendy exclaimed and grabbed squints.
"Aw man he's in deep shit!" Timmy said.
Wendy began carrying squints and then throwing him out of the pool. They all got kicked out. They got towels thrown to us by other kids and their shoes aswell.
They all ran and stopped putting on their shoes and socks on and ham then called out.
"You guys he planned that he knew what he was doing!" He called out.
Y/n pov
I'll admit being around a bunch of shirtless guys is kinda awkward. I had my towel covering me up though. I did put an oversized plain black t-shirt that had a few small holes and I put that on over my swimsuit just for on our way home.
