Ch.10 chief Swan
I wonder who chief Swan was. I would have to ask Edward that question. I hope he answers truthfully.
As we were in the car, I asked if he could get me some ice cream on the way home, he said yes.
Yes! I love ice cream. Especially when Edward gives it to me. . .
"Edward?" I said as I was eating some ice cream.
"Yes?"
"Who's chief Swan?"
"Ah, you remember huh?"
I just nodded, expecting him to give me an answer.
"Well" he went on "he is your real dad. See, your real dad and mom was driving when you were in your moms belly, and- well. Your read dad crashed. You were born just on time. And we adopted you. So we are not your real family. But we all love you" he gave me a smile and he hugged me.
"So, you guys are not my real family?" I asked, understanding.
"Correct."
"And my parents died?" I asked.
"Correct again. I'm really sorry Bella. But I know you'd want the truth. You're a really smart kid that would want to know. And I'm not a liar."
"It's okay, I was expecting a real answer anyways" I said trying to put in a joke. Probably bad timing.
He smiled and added "I probably should've told you when you were older."
"No, I'm glad I know now then telling me when I'm married."
