Baby Bella

Ch.7

Ch.7 Bella's getting older.

Bella's five now, she learned how to walk and talk. When she walks, Emmett watches her, waiting for her to fall so he can laugh. He's so rude now. Bella can speak a lot of words now, which is good because I can't read her mind.

Sadly, Bella is going to be starting kindergarten soon, so that means I can't spend all day with her like I usually do. I'm also excited for Bella. I can't wait for her to have friends.

"Edward?" Bella asked me.

"Yes"

"You guys look different from me" Bella stated. "And you run faster then me. Why?"

"Bella, we're older than you. Of course we run faster than you, and of course we look different. You'll look like us too" I was kind of giving away the vampire secret we have to keep from her until she is old enough for her to understand.

"Okay" is all she said before she started coloring again. Bella is very smart for her age, which is good. She is very intelligent.

Back to Bella going to school, she's going to be starting up school in two weeks. The Cullen's won't be going back, because we just graduated. Again. So we won't go back for another twenty years or so, and I'll probably be going to collage with Bella when she gets older.

I was excited, but also scared. What if she gets a new best friend? No, she won't, she promised me; best friends forever.

I sound like a kid.

TWO WEEKS LATER.

"Bella, come on, I'm taking you to school!" I yelled.

"Coming!" She yelled back.

Bella wore her favorite outfit today; her blue jeans and her brown shirt.

We hopped in my Valvo and went to Forks elementary.

"Are you scared?" I asked her.

"No, I'm excited to meet new people! Maybe I'll get a friend there." Bella sounded hopeful.

"Okay, but remember, I'm you're best friend. Okay?" I just wanted to make sure.

"I know. Now come on! We're here!" She was so adorable when she was excited.

We both got out of the car, and went towards the school.

Before she left, she jumped in my arms.

"I'll miss you" she whispered.

"I'll miss you too, Bella. Come on, I'll walk you in" after I said that, her face lit up. When we got in the school, Bella was shaking.

"Bella, it's okay" I tried calming her.

"I know, I'm just little scared" she confessed.

After five minutes of walking around and showing her it was okay, it was time for me to leave.

"I love you Edward" she whispered.

"I love you too Bella" then she hugged me really tight.

"Wear a jacket when you pick me up, you're cold." She said. I chuckled, but Bella wanted me to do something, so I'll do it.

After that I left. Saying bye to Bella was hard, but I'll deal with it. She's a kid now, and then some day, she'll be one of us. Some day.
