He turns the key

George turns the key and opans the door and my senses are overwhelmed with the sent of food "George?? That you?" I know exactly where that voice came from it was Izzy the nice blonde one I'm a intern with. This must of been  what he ment by the 'house mate ' situation "yea" George said as we step into the hallway  taking the soaking wet coats off  then fully entering the house . The house was crazy big  I don't think iv ever been in a house as big as this  I don't know if it's because I had that meny sisters the house just felt smaller or this house is just ginormous-

I follow George into the kitchen "Izzy this is Auden you know him right " i stay quite next to George , Izzy's jaw just about hit the floor as she walked over from by the oven she shakes my hand " well Auden it's a pleasure-, I never knew!" She smiles and shakes my hand me and George look at each other confused never knew what ?? "MEREDITH COME DOWN AND MEET GEORGES BOYFRIEND!!"  Izzy yellled it hurt my ears my brain my everything I cover my ears that's when it's registered  the name Meredith was mentioned...It can't be right?  Meredith gray... THE Meredith gray the same one who was best friends with Cristina.

I uncover my ears  as I here the sound of footsteps on the stares " Izzy n-no we aren't boyfriends I told you guys 1000 times I'm not gay " George defends himself that's when Meredith swans in she takes one look at me and I see the confusion on her face  . " no no no George it's okay! You don't need to hide it anymore!! We support you and Auden all the way!! " Izzy grins that would be really nice if George was with me but he wasn't "I'm sorry but Auden how are you gay? If you?..." Meredith asks I don't blame her "it's just complicated... " I reply looking down  " yea Meredith it is complicated because we aren't gay or together " George pushed me slightly away from him not in a mean way , In a Making a point way

" Meredith I was wondering if Auden could spend the night with us " he asked , this must be here house then. " uh- of course your boyfriend can stay over-.." she said probably also feeling the awkwardness that has swallowed me and George whole but from what I can see it's a different awkwardness  "of course he can stay! But you 2 better keep that door opan- " Izzy laughs.  . When I think there's not much left for the monster of awkwardness  to indulge it dose , "cmon " George takes my hand and we go upstairs

We sit on George's bed with the door opan to prevent any more miscommunication- we talk for a while "sorry but- uh-...I'm just gonna ask the question that's been on my mind- your last name- any relation to the neuro surgeon- ?" He asked , I thought everyone knew turned out not "yeah? He's my brother "  I explained, George sat up " so you're what a medical nepo baby?" He laughed and playfully hit me " oi , no I'm not " I also laugh  "so..is this the intern house then?" I ask well it's certainly what it looks like "yea but no" George explained I see a idea forming behind his eyes

He gets up from the bed and pulls a brown moving box from under the bed   He pulls the tape off as a wave of dust hits us in the face it sends me into a coughing fit I try to waft the dust away from us so we can at least atemps to breathe  , George grabs something from his bedside table it was a blue asthma inhaler he uses it then places it back in its spot  we opan the box but we hold our breaths to prevent being downed  in years old dust    The box was full of different dnd stuff  smaller clear boxes (that have yellowed over time ) full of dice a folder full of character sheets  and all other dnd shit that I was way too familiar with

"You said you play right ? " he asked I nod and we begin to clear the box out and get what we need for a 2 played game of dnd it would be better with more people but we are dealing with what we have and we have fun
