---Y/N POV
Time Skip to Fred's Wedding
"You look fabulous, Mione," I said, taking in her elegant bun and the knee-length formal dress that hugged her figure perfectly.
"Really? Ron gifted me this dress! Let me style your hair before you change," she replied with a grin.
I nodded, excitement bubbling up inside me. Hermione carefully styled my hair into soft curls, tying back my thick side bangs but leaving some wispy strands free. A delicate band adorned with silver leaves completed the look.
"Done! Go quickly and change; I want to see you!" she said, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
She playfully pushed me toward the changing room, a smile plastered on her face.
I quickly changed and stepped out, feeling a rush of nerves. Hermione's lips parted in surprise.
"You look brilliant!" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with admiration.
I smiled back, the warmth of her compliment making me feel more confident.
"I think we should head out; we don’t want to be late, do we?" Hermione said with a teasing smirk.
I giggled, and we made our way out of the dressing room, which Hermione had magically conjured.
As we walked, we noticed the curious stares from fellow students, and a nervous chuckle escaped my lips.
"Okay, here we go," I said as Hermione held my arm tightly.
With a sudden whoosh, we apparated.
"Finally, you two are here!" Ron exclaimed as we landed, hugging Hermione tightly and whispering something in her ear. He pecked her cheek, his face glowing with excitement.
“If you two are done, let’s go inside, shall we?” I said, unable to hide my grin as they both blushed furiously.
The wedding hall was magnificent, adorned with simple yet beautiful white and pinkish-red floral arrangements. The air was filled with a delightful vanilla scent that made everything feel magical.
Ron made his way to the stage, joining Harry, George, Alicia, Katie, and Alexandria, who stood proudly as Fred’s best men.
We took our seats, and I caught Harry’s eye; he flashed a grin, which I eagerly returned.
Hermione elbowed me playfully, drawing my attention to her as she shot me a knowing look.
Fred stepped onto the stage, and soon Angelina entered, her father holding her arm with pride.
As the priest began his speech, I couldn’t help but smile at the beauty of the moment. Angelina walked gracefully to Fred, and her father handed her over, a symbol of love and new beginnings.
After what felt like a lengthy speech, they kissed, and the hall erupted in applause. The newlyweds walked down the aisle, greeted with rice and flower petals from jubilant guests.
After mingling and enjoying dinner, it was time for the dance. I exchanged excited glances with Hermione, and we nodded in agreement.
I gulped down a potion to enhance my voice, feeling the rush of excitement as Fred's mischievous grin caught my eye.
As the music began, I took a deep breath, recalling the melody one last time.
"Ready?" I asked, my heart racing.
"Ready!" Hermione replied with enthusiasm.
We stepped onto the dance floor, and as the music played, I began to sing along, our performance drawing everyone’s attention.
