"What the hell, Graham?!" Alison's voice vibrated through the hardwood door I pressed my ear against. After Alison had caught us, Graham pulled her into the hallway, leaving me alone. But it was bold of him to assume I wasn't going to listen in on what they were talking about.

"Is this why you ignored my call earlier? Because you were cheating on me?"

Wait what? Cheating on him?

It fell quiet for a moment and I took my chance to turn the doorknob, cracking the door open enough to peek through.

I held my breath, watching as Alison pressed herself against Graham. Gazing up at him with a sultry look in her eyes. "Are you still upset about that Instagram post?"

Alison slithered her hands around his neck and my chest tightened. That weird sensation coming back into my stomach.

"Alison..." He sighed, raising his hands to touch her and I closed my eyes, clicking the door shut. I couldn't watch this anymore.

I'm an idiot. Why did I kiss him back?

What was the point of me playing pretend as his girlfriend when he had one? Now that I think about it, why would he need me to be his girlfriend anyway? Alison was a supermodel after all, what chance did I have?

I shook my head, pushing away all the questions as they tried to pile up more. I needed to leave.

My phone vibrated in my skirt pocket. My Mom had sent me a message checking up on me. I was about to respond until another message popped up in my notifications. Curiosity made me tap on it, reading the contents.

Did one of Graham's fangirls get my number? I exited out of the conversation and responded to my concerned Mom

A deep sigh escaped my lips as I ordered my Uber. I'll think of a lie later.

Thankfully, it would only take my ride 7 minutes to get here. I wouldn't have to continue to ignore the muffled voices of Alison and Graham on the other side of the door. The more I stayed, the more I felt like I belonged in a circus. But, I guess that's what I get for messing with a player.
