The soundcheck // beach

(Aprils pov)

Nora and i were first on the bus. We got seated then we were joined by Ezra and Casper. Our instruments were all being loaded in the large compartment underneath the bus. We have our own tour bus, not one with one direction. Our bus just follows theirs around location by location, from arena to arena. We eventually reach the stadium and begin to unload our equipment. The crew bring in majority of our stuff so all i grabbed was my guitar, it was in its case with a strap connected on. I slung the strap over my shoulder and made my way backstage to my dressing room. As i walked through the halls, scanning each door, i finally find the room i'm supposed to be in. I swing the door open and shuffle my at through the threshold. I place my guitar down and take a seat on the empty sofa.
I hear a bang on the door, "rehearsing in 5!" Jakes instructions cause me to strike up and begin grabbing whatever i need. I took my place on the stage and began plugging my guitar in and fidgeting around with some riffs and melodies. We rehearse the whole show and it finally reaches the last song. In my in-ear i hear, "cue best song ever, 1..2..3" I hit the strum of my guitar as the pirot blares up. As Harry begins his verse, the band and i are placed at the back of the stage, all enjoying the music. The song comes to an end and the boys begin to run to the descending platform at the back of the stage. I watch as each boy runs by. Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn and then Liam. The platform goes under the floor and we all leave the stage. As rehearsals are now done we've got free time until the show tonight. I wasn't planning on doing anything until Nora entered my dressing room. "Everyone's going out to the beach till tonight if you want to come?"
"oh i wasn't really planning on doing anything until the show tonight"
"cmon it'll be fun and everyone will be there. Even Liam." She tempts in a teasing tone.
"What's that gotta do with anything?"
"We all know you like him, you don't hide it very well"
"I don't like Liam" I deny.
Nora's face said it all, yet she decided not to speak.
I think for a second before deciding, "Okay i'll go"
Happiness fills Nora's face when i decide to join them on their beach journey. "Okay let's go! We can stop by the hotel on the way so you can change."

30 minutes later

Nora and I stop by the hotel and i put on a pink bikini (reference photo at top of page) with denim shorts over top. We reached the beach and found Ezra and Casper in the water, and the boys all on deckchairs. Nora took a seat on one of the deckchairs leaving the only empty one for me. Next to Liam. Shit.
