(April's pov)

After the show, i lay in the cold hotel bed, my headphones plugged into the small iPod beside me, I adjusted my black tank top as I lay. I listened to the hushed sounds of the music blasting through my earphones, my eyes slowly becoming heavy, my blinks becoming slower.

Until I hear a knock on the hotel door, slowly rising up towards the door, pulling the covers off my lean body. As I made my way towards the wooden door, peaking through the peep-hole.

Liam?

Whys he here for?

I opened the door, curious of why Liam was here. "You left this at the beach." Before i got to say anything he passed me a pair of sunglasses. "Oh, thanks," I continue the awkward interaction. "I hadn't even realised i left them," I joke before saying our goodbyes as he walks back down the hall to the elevator. I shut my door and glance down at the sunglasses. A note. I unfold the note to read a series of numbers, Liams phone number. I may work with Liam but we only really talk at shows or rehearsals, if they needed to contact me, their team would so i don't have his number. I didn't waste anytime typing the number into my phone. After ages of typing and re-typing texts, i finally settled with "hi, it's April."

(Liams pov)

earlier that day

April and i spoke for ages. Once she had left i realised she left her sunglasses. I wanted to give her them back at the show but i never got the chance to. When we reached the hotel i decided to go to her hotel room and return them, but, i felt like i needed to give her something else, my phone number. Honestly, April seems fun. After the conversation we had on the beach i got to know her a bit, we just never exchanged numbers. On the way out of my hotel suit i scribbled down my number on a small sheet and folded it up. I reached Aprils' hotel room and knocked on the door. Eventually she opened the door and i passed her the sunglasses, hearing the blaring music coming out of her earphones in the background, i explained how she had left them at the beach. I parted my way back to my suit and just relaxed watching tv. It was then that i heard my phone ding. Picking up my phone i read, "hi, it's April."
