In ten years..

(April's pov)
It was the day after Liam had came to my hotel door, we had been practising nonstop for the concert taking place later that evening, my fingers throbbed slightly by the time we finally got a break. Me, Ezra, Nora and Casper all sat around in a sort of circle-huddle, we somehow got onto the topic of the future.

"Where do you all see yourselves in let's say.. ten years time?" A sudden Scouse accent filled my ears. Casper. He was holding a wash out zip-up hoodie in his hands, he'd gotten too warm during rehearsals.

"In ten years? Jesus.." Nora began softly, as she flicked a piece of her jet-black hair out of her face, tapping her hand on her thigh slightly.

"I honestly feel like.. I'll be dead or some shit, y'know?" Ezra butted in, his usual smiley expression plastered across his face. "It's a surprise I even made it past like, 18." He mumbled again quietly, before looking up. "But seriously.. where do you think we'll all be?" Ezra's face suddenly turned into a more serious expression.

I kept quiet, I didn't even know where I'd be next week, let alone in the next ten years. But if it was the way I wanted, I'd be the happiest girl alive, compared to what I thought I'd end up like.

"I wanna be settled down, married, maybe a house .. just comfortable mainly." Nora shrugged slightly as she played with the fray of her jeans biting her inner cheek, she had came out the previous tour, but she was definitely more happy since she did, even if it did constantly get her nervous.

I gave Nora a soft smile, as he wrap my arms around my legs, holding them firmly against my chest, my gaze wondering as I slowly zoned out the noise of my band mates — my gaze went straight to the Liam, as they always did. He was such a sweet boy, how could you not like him? Was I just trying to find excuses now?

"I feel like I'd definitely be —" Casper began, before looking in my direction. "April? April? Yo are you even paying attention to me right now?" He raised his eyebrow at me slightly.

"Oh, yeah sorry, got distracted.." I trailed off, giving him a reassuring smile to continue what he had been saying before my attention drifted away again, back to Liam laughing — I didn't even pay attention to who he was laughing with. My attention was completely on him, until I felt Nora's eyes on me. I turned to look at her.

She was smiling softly at me, chuckling slightly. I knew she knew. I just simply rolled my eyes at her. Nobody needed to know, apart from her obviously. Then Casper turned to me.

"Where do you see yourself in ten years then, Finlay?" He smirked cheekily, using my last name as per usual.

"I don't know.. maybe a couple kids, two or three.." I began, chuckling quietly. "I don't know, just to be happy hopefully, at least, that's what I want. It doesn't necessarily mean it'll happen for me,"  I shrugged before looking down at my phone.

Buzz

My phone buzzed, someone had texted me, I tap on my red phone case, biting my inner lip as I read the text message.

Liam

'Cool if we meet up later? Would love to talk again :)'
