CHAPTER 17: Reunion after Yearning

AUTHOR'S POV:

After nearly a month of separation, today was the day Devansh would reunite with Ishika, and she was filled with excitement at the thought of seeing him again.

To her, his return meant a restoration of the smile and sparkle in her eyes, a feeling she couldn't contain.

Meanwhile, in Germany, far from Ishika, Devansh was eagerly preparing for the reunion, checking the time incessantly, hoping for time to pass quickly and end his anticipation.

His arrival was known only to Veer, Ishika, and Rishika. Devansh had deliberately told others about his arrival which is in a day or two, planning to spend precious time with Ishika before returning home. His heart yearned for a moment alone with her, where their connection could weave together harmoniously.

Realizing they wouldn't be comfortable being alone for the day as it's just the new and exploring phase they are going through. So finally the plan is, the four of them - Veer, Ishika, Rishika, and Devansh - decided to spend the day at a resort, enjoying relaxation and fun before parting ways to their respective homes.

Restlessly pacing the room, tapping his feet, Devansh eagerly awaited the moment the clock would strike one, signaling his departure to the airport. Time seemed to crawl by, intentionally prolonging his separation from 'Ikuu.'

DEVANSH'S POV:

It had been 30 days and 12 hours since I arrived in Germany. Initially planned for just a week, my stay extended due to project commitments. Throughout this time, I realized that without 'Ikuu,' I felt lost and incomplete.

One thing is certain - my future is with 'Ikuu.' Despite the distance, I made every effort to stay connected, as she is the one I see myself with.

Now, I am eagerly waiting for time to pass swiftly, so I can rush to the airport and embrace 'Ikuu' in India. I have already informed in our group about my arrival and a plan to spend a day with her and all of them before my routine resumes.

After what felt like an eternity, I finally boarded my cab to the airport. As I arrived, time seemed to fly, and the pilot finally announced our landing...

Finally, I landed and after collecting my luggage I made my way towards the exit and their I saw my Trio... seeing them makes me smile wider and no matter what I do and where I go but returning to them apart from the family always makes me feel like I am finally returning to home.

Seeing my hommies up ahead, I sped up and quickly caught up to them. Got pulled into a big group hug with Ikuu by one side of me and Veer and Behna on the other. We hugged tightly, the world around us fading as we cherished the precious moment of being together again.

ISHIKA'S POV:

The anticipation was palpable as I stood at the airport, waiting for A nsh's arrival. Every passing minute felt like an eternity, my heart racing with excitement at the thought of seeing him again after what felt like an eternity.

"Is he here yet?" I asked to no one particular for about hundredth time, unable to hide the eagerness in my voice.

Veer, standing beside me, checked his watch. "Not yet, but he should be landing soon, Don't worry hold you egarness Ishaa he'll be here ree" he replied, a smile playing on his lips.

On the other side Rishh said mischiously "Ishh chill, Bhai will be here any minute ... Sabr ka fal meetha hota hai... hahaha" listening to her Veer also stated laughing and me... well stood speachless with light blush, thankfully no one noticed else they would again start teasing..
