Monday- Morning

-Evangeline-

"Good morning, New York City! We're so excited to have you join us live for this glorious morning. I'm Evangeline Stone," I smile wide, looking straight into the big black rectangular camera in front of me.

"And I'm Charlotte Anderson," I turn my attention to Charlotte- her high angelic voice with golden natural loose curls that fall on her shoulders and bright blue eyes that light up with her radiant smile (A picture of perfection sitting next to me) fill the office- before turning back to the camera.

"And welcome to Talk The Talk," Charlotte and I say in unison as we smile into the camera that our cameraman Roger is pointing towards us.

"Where we talk about the top five latest dramas happening in the world in the thirty-minute period that we have," I announce to the camera as if I'm giving a speech of a lifetime.

"On today's episode of Talk The Talk, we are going to talk about the most requested subject, or person, I might say, that we've been pushing off until now. C. Winters," My head snaps towards Charlotte, who's smiling wide at the camera like she didn't just say the most triggering word to me that we're going to talk about.

I've been pestering Charlotte, aka my best friend, all day about what we're going to talk about for today's topic, but she said she had it all planned out. If I'd known it was to talk about C. W, I would have slapped her, or no worse, fought her to change to the subject that we've been pushing off for months ever since he hit popular again.

"That's right, folks. Mr. Winters," I bite down the vomit that wants to spill from mentioning him as I turn my gaze to Charlotte, giving her a death glare that she knows what for. I turn to the camera, retaining a fake happy smile on my face to not let the live viewers see that I still have a hatred for Mr. W.

If the viewers see that I still have something against my ex-fiancé, Mr. W, then they'll eat you up alive with that drama.

Everyone knows what C. W. did to me. It was all over the news for a whole year. The famous Cole Winters used his fiancée as basically a toy to make him look good and to make his business rise.

Only they didn't get the full story like they wanted. They only were fed what I've told the press, aka my fellow coworkers. I only twisted the truth to not make people think that I've been used since Mr. W hasn't spoken about the situation. But what I told the media isn't what is lying about. I told the media that Mr. W cheated on me, and that's why our relationship ended.

A twisted turn of the truth it is, one that is close to the truth, but also far away from the truth. It's a lie that has almost destroyed Mr. W's Induestry, making his business go down and investors leave because they think if he cheated on an innocent woman, then he could possibly be a cheater in business. And since Mr. W hasn't spoken about the tragedy to anyone, then no one can confirm or deny the rumors but him. I hope it hurt him as much as it hurt me when he used me.

Surprisingly, over the almost five years we've been apart, he has built his empire, which he loves so much, back up from its ruins that I've brought it to. But the fans of the world have been dying for us to talk about Mr. W and his mysterious lifestyle.
