My alarm goes of at 5 am to send Tyler home but I don't want him to leave yet. Unfortunately I like my freedom so I shake Tyler awake. He groans and rolls over. "Get up we've got school." He rolls over and smiles.
"Get ready and come with me. I'll give you a ride."
"I don't know Ty."
"Don't tell me you're having regrets already." He laughs throwing his shirt on.
"Its not you its me." I laugh and start changing into my outfit. "Give me five minutes." I put on low rise jeans and a long sleeve black shirt, and a pair of gold hoops. While I strongly believe I look better in silver, I won't mix gold and silver. By the time I slip into my converse and grab my bag Tyler is well past ready. "I gotta leave a note." I scribble onto a post-it note 'left to practice in the gym early, no need for a ride. Love you!' I stick it in my alarm clock and then grab Tyler's hand leading him out my window.
"Glad you're coming with me or this would've felt like the walk of shame."
"Oh because your definitely one of my side pieces." I elbow Tyler teasingly.
When we finally get to his house we sneak into his living room window. His house is much bigger then mine so his room is not in the first floor. We sneak up the stairs to his room, while he gets dressed i look around. He has a lot of art supplies considering I was expecting football sheets and playboy posters. "You still draw Ty?"
"Not really" he changes into new jeans and a new shirt that looks eerily similar to his outfit from yesterday.
"Liar."
"Nope." He's finally finished and I realize what a mess I look. 5 minutes will never be enough time to get ready. I run my fingers through my hair hurriedly and wipe last nights mascara out from my eyes. "You look fine" he laughs.
"Whatever." We sneak back down the stairs and leave through the front door this time. "We an hour to kill." I whine
"I don't know about you but I need coffee."
"Could not agree more." I laugh slipping into the passenger seat.
After a much needed coffee run we get to school, still a little early but Bonnie's here. She's usually early. Plus I don't think she's been sleeping very well with all of this going on.
"Hey B."
"Did I see you get out of Tyler Lockwoods car?"
"Nice to see you too, good morning." I retort, clearly sarcastically.
"And you look like a total wreck. Don't tell me." She gasps. "Did you spend the night with Tyler."
"Bonnie shhh."
"Did you?"
"Bonnie."
"Oh my god you totally did!"
"That's not what I wanted to talk to you about."
"Okay what did you want to talk to me about."
"I wanna practice magic together."
"I've been practicing with my gram. Maybe you should come over after school and practice with her."
"Of course. I have volleyball practice though."
"Shit. I have cheer." She groans.
"Ill meet you by your car after practice." I smile and kiss her cheek. "Gotta run B, bells about to ring."

I regret making plans as soon as I step out of practice. I'm exhausted and need a change of clothes desperately. Bonnie looks exhausted as well, but we're both dead set on exploring our magic. Plus from my basic understanding witches are more powerful together. We're no coven but it's definitely a start.
I get into her car and she starts to smile expectedly at me.
"Okay you need to tell me everything."
"I don't know what you're talking about." I roll my eyes and throw my bag into her back seat.
"Ruby we have been best-friends our entire lives."
"Fine. He came to my window last night, he was upset. And I don't know I just felt different then I ever have about him before. And then I kissed him, and things went further. And I really think I like him Bonnie." Shes sitting there smiling from ear to ear and the starts laughing.
"All that denial."
"Shut up Bonnie."
"Okay whatever you say." She starts her car up and backs out of the parking lot.
When we get to her grams house, Sheila Bonnie's grandmother is sitting on her porch waiting for us.
"I was waiting for your grandpa to finally fess up." Grams laughs.
"Hey grams!" I smile and give her a side hug. "I haven't seen you since last may."
"Because you've been hiding." Bonnie laughs and opens the front door, she sets out bags down and helps her grams into the house.
"I already told grams everything.  About your family, your locket, the letter." Bonnie admits blushing.
"Me being a siphon."
"That too."
"I've heard of siphons but I've never met one." Grams mumbles pulling out a couple of books, they're different from grimoires. She teaches occult at the nearby college so these books are more factual. My pa has been incredibly helpful but he doesn't have magic anymore so it was even more helpful to work with witches who could show me things and help me. My pronunciation has come a long way.
