Finding my hero

It took a few weeks but the others finally got an answer from you about how you knew all might.

"He met my dad when he was working as an apprentice in America. They stayed friends and he came to visit all the time and when my dad died he helped us out a lot. My mom got sick and he offered to move us here to help take care of us. He's the one who recommended me to UA." You finally explained, leaving some parts out of course.

They were all surprised but after seeing him take you home every day for weeks they assumed something like that.

Rescue training day.

You all arrived at the USJ and were excited but before you could even get started there was an attack. You were thrown into a warp and ended up in a building with Kirishima and Bakugo. There were enemies too.

You didn't even have time to think about what animal you'd use before they had already started fighting. You used gorilla strength and punched one guy in the gut sending him flying through a wall.

It only took a few minutes for you three to beat up all the villains around you.

"Wow y/n that was a super manly punch!" Kirishima said trying to cheer you on.

"Idiot you aren't supposed to call girls manly!" Bakugo shouted.
That made Eijiro look at you all concerned as if he'd hurt you.

You flexed your arm muscles at him.
"It's fine Kiri! I like having manly punches!" You said.

He slightly blushed at the nick name but he gave you a high five still.

Bakugo rolled his eyes and huffed. He seemed pissed off that you had disproved him.

"Thanks for trying to defend my honor Katsuki." Before he could react he felt your lips peck him on the cheek. He didn't know what to do so he reverted back to his grumpy self and wiped his cheek with the back of his hand as if you'd gotten cooties on him.

"Let's go help the others!" You said and they agreed. By the time you got back to the others All might was fighting a giant man thing with its brain showing. The creepy guy with the hands on his face was laughing as the monster punched All might over and over again.

You wanted to beat the smile off his crusty face but you knew that All might would get hurt trying to protect you if you tried.

You could only watch as the fight went on. All might threw the monster out of the building. The villains ran through the warp and were gone like that. You saw Izuku trying to help him but he was broken.

"Midoria! We're coming!" Kirishima said so you three ran to him.
You looked over toward All might, he was steaming obviously going to be back to his sickly form in a moment. You ran to him as fast as possible and you could tell Kiri was following you but the second you got close cementos put up a wall right in front of you.

"Help your class mates, the pros have it from here." You glared at him. Then you gave up and ran back to help Izuku.

Kiri was trying to get him to stand up but it was obvious his legs were messed up. You put your hand on Kiri's shoulder.

"Kiri let me, please." You said. He nodded.

"Izuku is your back hurt at all?" You asked.

"N-no it's my arms and legs." He said. You scooped him up in your arms carefully avoiding his broken limbs.

"We need to talk." You said as you carried him to the paramedics.

He looked frightened at you.

You ran into the hospital room where you found him.
You ran up and hugged him.
"You really scared me!" You said as you teared up while hugging him.
He coughed a bit and patted your head.
"Young y/n I'm sorry to have frightened you. I'm glad that you are alright though. And I apologize for not getting there sooner." He said.

You glared at him through your tears.
"Yagi you dummy! You were pushing yourself this morning and then you pushed yourself even more. You know what's going to happen if you keep doing this. You know I can't lose you too!" You said.

He clammed up.
"I'm going to go check on Izuku then I'll be back okay. You stay and rest!" You said before stomping out. You walked down the hall and saw recovery girl leaving a room with a doctor.

"Can I go see him?" You asked.

"Yes sweetie but don't be too rough with him." She said with a giggle.
You just blushed as you went in.

He was putting on a shirt.
'Damn for a small guy he has a lot of muscles.'
You thought as you stared

Once his shirt was on he noticed you and became a deep shade of red.

"Oh h-hi y/n! What are you doing here?" He said all flustered.
'He's such a cutie.' You thought.

You walked over to him and instantly started inspecting his limbs like he was just an object.

"Ah! W-what are you doing?" He exclaimed.

You chuckled.
"Relax izuchan, Ya- I mean All might wanted to know if you were okay." You said with a smile.

It wasn't possible to blush more than he was now.

"Y-you, you almost called him something else..." he said.

"Sorry I should explain a bit more huh?" You said as you sat down on the bed.
He just watched in anticipation.

"My dad died in a fight with a villain. When All might heard he came and stayed with us. He was fighting someone here while my dad was getting killed in America and it crushed him that he wasn't there to save him. But it was obvious that all might had been hurt too. I remember the first time I saw him without all of his muscles , I thought he was going to die right there." You said

Izuku looked shocked.

"When he told me about his quirk and about how he had to pass it on, a part of me wanted it. But I knew I wouldn't be strong enough for it, I had lost my father to this and my mom started getting sick and I knew there was no way he could give it to me. He told me how he was going to be a teacher at UA so he could find a successor and I hoped it would be someone strong who could use it to protect even the other heros."
You paused

"When he told me your name and explained what happened and why he chose you I was a bit angry because the way it sounded you were weak."

Izuku looked ashamed.

"But when he moved us here he brought me to the beach and showed me what it looked like before and what you looked like before."
He looked embarrassed.

"When I came to UA and met you. When I saw you fight. I could see how much you'd grown, how you'd gotten strong and.... I'm really glad he chose you Izuchan." You said.

He didn't know what to do. What to say. You could tell.
You hugged him. He didn't return it but when you went to pull away he hugged you back tightly.

"Thank you y/n.." he said with a sniffle. He was obviously tearing up.

"Hey don't start crying after I called you strong!" You laughed and he wiped his tears away.
