Finding my hero

You'd been taking it easy and kind of avoiding mingling with the rest of your class which was worrying some of your classmates.

"Why are you allowed to go in there but we can't check on her?!" Denki yelled at Katsuki.

"Because she doesn't want scum like you around her!" Katsuki yelled back defensively.

"Come on Bakugo, we just want to see if she's alright. We've barely seen her since we got Midoriya back." Kirishima pleaded.

"She's resting! Now shut the hell up before you wake her!" Katsuki yelled.

The two boys smiled as you popped your head out the door.

"What are you smiling at?!" Katsuki yelled.
You put your hand on his shoulder and he calmed down a bit.

"You're supposed to be resting." He grumbled.

"It's okay Kats... I'll talk to them." You said.

He huffed and walked into your room.

You smiled at him before closing the door to speak to the boys in the hall.

"What's going on Y/n? Why do you need to rest? Are you okay?" Kirishima asked.

"And what's going on with you and Bakugo? And why aren't you speaking to Midoriya?" Denki asked.

You didn't really know what to say. You cared about them too much to lie to them, but as much as you were angry with Izuku you didn't want them to look at him any differently.

"Don't freak out okay." You said before lifting your shirt up to reveal your bruised and scarred stomach.

"WHAT THE HELL! DID BAKUGO DO THAT TO YOU?! ILL KILL HIM!" Kaminari shouted before Kirishima punched him in the arm to bring him back to earth.

"Ow!" Denki said while rubbing his arm.

"What happened y/n?" Kiri looked at you with worry.

"It's a long story but basically I went looking for Izuku a couple days before we all did. I got hurt really bad and Katsuki saved me. Recovery girl did all she could so I have to heal the rest myself, and Katsuki's been taking care of me." You said.

"And what about Izuku?"Kiri asked.

"That's personal." You said blankly.

"Okay..." he said awkwardly.

"It's no one's business. I love you guys but leave it alone." You said a little angrier.

"Okay. We can respect that." Kiri said before turning to leave.

"Denki." You said and grabbed his hand.

He looked sadly at you.

"Thank you for being so sweet to me, you were the best first date anyone could ask for, but i think we both know we weren't meant to be... I've seen how you look at Jiro... I think you two would be perfect together." You whispered the last part and he blushed a bit.

"Are you sure? I mean, Bakugo?" He asked.

You smiled.
"I know what you're thinking. But what can I say? He's my hero." You said.

Kaminari laughed at your cheesiness.

"Okay... but... friends?" He asked.

You smiled and nodded.
"Friends, always." You said.

And with that he was content and left.

You went back in your room to find Katsuki flopped on your bed playing on his phone.
