I've dropped Lola off several times but never has she accepted my offer to walk her to the door, which means seeing the inside of her apartment building is completely foreign to me. I just follow closely behind Lola and try to get my scattered thoughts together. What are we about to do? Does she... are we going to have sex? No Ezra you are not having sex tonight. This is literally your first date. Lola is not going to want to have sex. Her real first time with me will not be tonight. I mean... no. Right? Right then my stomach churns. That does not feel good. Sex would be good. NO. No sex. My stomach grumbled. What is happening?

Lola abruptly stops which makes me walk into her. "Ow, Ezra you hit my shin." I steady myself by holding onto her shoulders.

I laugh nervously, "Didn't see you there." She turns and studies my face.

"Alright then..." she continues to stare at me narrowing her eyes. I tug on the collar of my shirt. She turns around sticking her keys in the door. "We're here twat."

I want to say cool but my throat makes a weird sound that sounds like a squeak. I start coughing to cover the noise. She starts laughing and holds the door open for me.

Her laugh fades when she looks at my face. "Ezra you're sweating."

My stomach flips again, and this time I hold onto the doorframe. "It-it's from the rain."

"You're sweating...because it's raining?" I don't answer and smile nervously. She takes my hand and pulls me into her flat. She pats my cheek smiling,"Breathe, Ezra."

I let out a breath and look around as she flips on the lights. Whoa. The place is so...clean. It smells so refreshing in here and kind of like Lola. I walk around and see a bunch of purple candles everywhere. I pick one up and sniff it. Lavender. Makes sense. Pretty much all of the house can be seen by standing in front of the doorway. I can literally see her bed on the top half of the room. There's a spiral staircase to the left, which leads to the top. I walk towards the couch in the living room and plop on it. My hands feel sweaty so I rub them back and forth on my pants. I hear Lola's footsteps but I keep my eyes on the blank TV screen.

The couch dips as she sits next to me. "Water?" she asks handing me a mug.

I keep looking straightforward and nod taking the mug. I gulp it all down at once. It's really hot in here. Lola takes the cup out of my hand and set it on the coffee table. She grabs my chin and urges me to look at her.

"Ezra I just...I just wanted to invite you to my apartment since you haven't seen it. An-and if you had anything in mind I wouldn't mind," she says the last words quietly.

"I'm sorry I'm being weird. I'm just a bit nervous because-" she cuts me off and kisses me. Her hands slide behind my neck and she brings me closer. I wrap my hands around her waist and breathe out as my insides relax slightly. I kiss her firmly, bringing her closer, and pick her up then setting her on my lap. She puts her leg on either side of me and straddles me. I moan when she pushes her body up against me. Suddenly my stomach gurgles. I ignore it and start kissing Lola slowly down her jaw line. I bite her earlobe and feel her body shiver. I hold onto her legs and pick her up as I stand. I walk towards the stairs but suddenly my knees shake and my stomach grumbles in protest.

"Oh no," I mutter breathlessly. Lola leans back to look at me slightly panting. "Hun, give me a sec," I say as I put her down. I grip my stomach as it reacts once again.

"Ezra you look-" My stomachs protests are finally heard as the food goes up and out of my mouth. I can't stop myself, I just hurl all over the ground and Lola.
