I rummaged through my closet searching for a decent shirt. I sniffed each shirt I picked up hoping to find one that doesn't smell like dog shit, but instead I found myself chucking each dirty shirt backwards causing a dirty laundry hill to form behind me.
"Oi, stinky boy, what are you doing?," I heard Alec's voice behind me. I turned to see that he had caught the recent shirt I chucked behind me and him plugging his nose with his free hand.
I chuckled at his little joke. "I have to meet with Lola in half an hour and I can't find a clean shirt to wear!"
"Oh shocker, so this is the outcome when you don't clean at all!" he said throwing the dirty shirt at me. "You can borrow one of my shirts but seriously learn to clean, you are making our room into a dump! Thank god there is two months of school left I'm getting sick of your messy ass!" I rolled my eyes and flipped him off walking over to his closet. I picked a green polo tee and put it on.
"So off with Lola again, geez when are you going to just call her your girl?"
"Lola has some pretty high walls I have to climb over to reach her so as for now she is just a very good friend of mine. But not to worry I'm close to calling her MY princess," I said grinning at him.
Alec pretended to gag. "Seriously mate? Princess?" I shrugged turning to mirror running my hands through my hair trying to tame the jungle. " Well Eleanor and I are doing real good I mean besides the lack of sleep life is amazing and I am not even complaining about the sleep thing. It is so worth getting in her-"
"Oh my god please stop, I have become close with Eleanor and that is just way to much info," I walked over grabbing my cell, keys, and wallet shoving them into my pockets and slinging my laptop bag over my shoulder. Alec walked over to me with a coy smile.
"Now son you treat that girl right," he said putting his hands on either side of my shoulder. "I want you home by eleven, heck Ill make it midnight. Now come give your mum a kiss before you go," he puckered his lips.
I laughed so hard my whole body shook, I shrugged his arms off and slapped him playfully on the cheek then turned to leave. "Laters mum!"
"Night darling!" Alec's voice called out as I shut the door behind me. The guy walking by our dorm shook his head disgusted, just to push his buttons more I winked and air kissed him then walked away grinning to myself.

As I walked up to the coffee shop I saw Lola sitting in our usual spot, next to the window but secluded from everyone else and I just stopped for a moment and stared. She kept pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose as she stared down at her latest novel. Her wavy hair shielded half of her face like a curtain completely oblivious of the world around her as she was absorbed in the words of another hopeless romantic. She was so perfect and the closer I have become to her the more perfect she becomes.
I love the way she goes to another world when she picks up a book. I love the way everything she does is just for her, not giving a damn about what the world thinks. I love how her style is her and not copying anyone else. I love how she needs to be annoyingly on time for everything. Speaking of she just took a peak at her watch, I was a bit late and I bet that was killing her. I sighed deeply. I love her.
I laughed a little as I began to walk towards the coffee shop door, man I am so whipped. She looked up only when I was seated and I put my bag down.
"You're late," she said as she put her book down. I couldn't stop smiling. "Why are you so cheeky?" she said smiling when her eyes met mine.
