I watched Koa get incapacitated by Perun. She was unmoving and unresponsive, just like Rhys a few feet away from her. I wanted to go over there to heal her, but Aeris was putting up a good fight.
"Hubris? My death?" He laughed. "What kind of lesson are you trying to teach? You're just trying to redeem yourself to the gods." I didn't respond and instead pummelled him into the ground with a few swift punches.
"You are an idiot if you think you can defeat me," I snarled. Aeris laughed. He knew it was an empty threat.
"With the Crescent Moon Blade maybe, but that's gone now," Aeris smiled wickedly and shot a tornado into my side. I gasped as blood spurted from the wound. I retaliated with three slashes that took the form of moons. Aeris gasped.
"I think I'm perfectly capable without that sword," I growled. I had learned how to fight without the power of the Crescent Moon Blade and that was how Aeris was going to go down. I followed it up with three pillars of energy. Aeris was caught on the last one and took major damage.
"If you think hubris will be my death then let hubris be your death as well!" Aeris summoned a giant whirlwind of power. I could see the serrated edges of the wind as it bore down on me. I quickly put up a barrier, but the wind was strong and it was hard to keep the barrier up.
I watched as the whirlwind broke my barrier, but at the last second, a flash streaked across the sky and the whirlwind was no more. Caspian gave me a reassuring look and refocused his attention on Asami. I dissolved the barrier before launching an upward attack on Aeris, he was knocked from the sky and fell with a hard thud.
"This ends now," I raised my hand and a silvery blade extended the reach of my normally short wingspan. The blade sliced cleanly into Aeris' neck and soon he was no more. I rushed over to Caspian who was focused on capturing Asami instead of killing.
"You killed him," Caspian's voice held no emotion. "I would think you wouldn't kill someone of his age."
"This is war Caspian, sometimes you ransome with captives, sometimes you have to kill people. Perun will stop at nothing to win, sometimes sacrifices have to be made," Tsuki acknowledged Caspian's concerns and Capian understood.
"The things we wish for," Caspian turned around and sent a compressed ball of water into Asami. She went flying backwards, the Crescent Moon Blade ripping from her grasp. It clattered to the ground a few feet in front of Tsuki. He picked it up and sheathed it at his side.
"Asami shouldn't be killed. We have no reason to hurt her," Tsuki hoped his final words would be of use to Caspian and his final ruling. Afterwards, I rushed towards Rhys and Koa.

All I could feel was a numb sharp pain. Paralyzation was pretty gnarly. All I was aware of was the ground underneath my face. I was unaware of what was going on, I could only see the back of the stage, I could barely hear the sounds of the fight. Perun had really gone to extensive lengths to make sure I couldn't move.
"Koa," A soft hand prodded me. I tried to move, but I couldn't. "Don't try to move. The paralysis will only worsen the more you try to move." I felt relieved Rhys was going to help me.
"What's Perun done? Has he progressed in his plans?" I was suddenly worried that in the few minutes I'd been out Perun had done something despicable.
"Not that I'm aware of," Rhys was clearly looking for something in the way the air shifted. "It seems he's making advancements in the Hellbeast segment of things. He clearly wants us completely busy while he deals with the Thunder Crown."
