Dick Grayson

It was supposed to be a riot control mission. Then everything gone wrong.

Or maybe ever since Joker had break out from Arkham and planted bombs all over the cities that's where it had gone wrong.

No. It dates way back.

It dates way back where his Little Wing died. Where he should have killed the Joker after murdering his little brother. He should've ended that scum's life at that moment.

He should have not hesitated. He should have not listened to Batman,to Bruce. He should have snapped that clown's neck and Lois Lane and her unborn child wouldn't have died. And Superman, Clark wouldn't have gone mad.

Yet here they were, all because of Dick's hesitation that night he doomed the world into catastrophe. He should have known such small action leads to bigger impacts. Just like now.

It was just a small argument between him and Damian. Damian was being too rough with the Arkham prisoners and if Dick wasn't here with him he's sure Robin would have killed many of them. Damian's ingrained assassin instincts and upbringing are still there after all they done to control and change his point of view and beliefs.

Then it escalated. Damian, for all his control, have quite the temperament.

"After everyone you've hurt, you think the society owes you freaks anything?"

Damian said as he punched the fallen prisoner.

"Robin, that's enough!"

"You're as bad as him!Superman is right. They don't deserve our protection." Damian snarled.

God he doesn't want his youngest brother to turn into dark side. He can't lose Damian.

Dick tries to reason with him. "Robin doesn't beat people once they're down!"

But it was met with Damian's retort.

"You're not Robin anymore! Stop telling me what to do!"

Then Dick saw it too late, he felt a hard thing hit his temple. It made him dizzy and disoriented. Then he tripped.

And everything faded to black.

Then Dick suddenly felt he's being sucked in a portal of light. And after a second of travel,he looked around.

Is this...heaven? Afterlife?

He's floating in a space, not that black background with stars kinda space. It's like a sky filled with colorful stars.

"Boomer. That little pissant." He muttered. Where the heck did Damian led him to?

He then saw a structure. Like an altar like stairs like that of Hindu temples. He floated towards it. A shining golden light was emitted on the top of the stairs.

"Welcome, Dick Grayson."

Appeared a cross-legged woman, with pale blue skin, eyes with black sclera and with pupils. She looks like a Hindu deity.

"You're Saint Peter? Thought it be less...funky."

The woman(deity? goddess?)smiled. "This is not where you will rest. I, Rama Kushna brought you here for a reason."
