"So, I was thinking the color scheme should resemble a sunrise for the wedding and a sunset for the after party thing?" Eijiro suggests as Katsuki snorts, correcting his fiance.
"Reception, doofus."
"Yes, that. And since I'm the one walking down the aisle, it should be red." The redhead huffs, placing his hands on his hips confidently as the blonde rolls his eyes. "But not like my hair, but like my hero suit! A maroon red, if that makes sense? The flowers in the arch can be a mix of red, orange, and yellow roses."
"The meaning behind those specific roses is passion, friendship, joy, romance, love, and desire. Just in case you didn't know." Izuku chimes in, carrying a few bags as they walk through a mall; having grabbed silverware and utensils already, now moving on to actual decor. "I did some of my own research for my own special day."
"You've already begun planning our wedding? Never knew you could be such a romantic, Ku." Ochaco side-eyes her boyfriend, wondering how he changed from an unsure boy to this person she sees before her. "What flowers do you think we should do...?"
"Oh pink roses to show appreciation, gratitude, and admiration towards you. And lily of the valley definitely has to be in your bouquet." Izuku lists, not explaining the second meaning on purpose; glossing over it as he shifts the subject back. "Anyways, what else do you guys want?"
"I'm probably going to wear a white suit, so I want a veil. They look like fun." Eijiro grins, flexing his arm as he points to his head. "I'd probably wear my hair down and style it, so I think I'd make it look pretty manly."
"Only you would say veil and manly in the same sentence." The blonde shakes his head as Izuku and Ochaco chuckle at the two. "So Lizard, you can make all this happen?"
"It's Dracon. And yes, it seems possible. The chairs would have to be white in order for this to work. The gift table could be orange to bring in some of that and I'll probably have you two swap colors for your flowers. His bouquet, if he wants one, would have to be orange and you would have a red rose in your breast pocket with a red tie. Sounds good?" Hisashi states, beaming at how flawlessly his idea sounds; getting head nods from almost all of the teens. "Izuku?"
"It sounds okay... But I think that Kiri should have gold accents to highlight his features. Then there's the whole wedding proverb of something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Would we need to tie in something blue to the overall sunset/sunrise theme? Maybe a backdrop behind Kacchan and the arch that acts as a literal sunrise?" Izuku throws out there as a hand grabs him, shocking him as he's faced with an extremely excited Eijiro.
"Man, you are the greatest! That sounds awesome!" The redhead jumps in excitement. "So manly! I can already see Kat standing there, looking so cute; waiting for me to... walk... down to him and... declare my love for h-him... in front of..." Eijiro trails off, faltering the more he speaks; placing a hand on his forehead as reality slowly overcomes him. "Uh..."
"Ei? You good? Do we need to sit or something?" Katsuki questions, shooting his lover a look as the redhead shakes his head; biting his lip as he looks down. Sighing, the blonde walks over to him; effectively causing the group to stop walking entirely as he grabs the redhead's hands, shoving Izuku out of the way. "You want to talk in private? What's wrong?"
"Reality just hit me. W-we're getting married."
"Yeah, I know. I was there when you proposed. Emphasis on the 'you', shitface. I wouldn't have said yes if I didn't want to, idiot. So don't you dare start doubting your choice now while we've gotten this far." The blonde glares as the redhead shakes his head, trying to convey that he's not regretting a single thing. "No? So then why do you look so panicked?"
"We're going to be in front of so many people... and we're training to be heroes. The news would probably have to be there... we're a gay couple. We could be destroying our careers before they even start... should we hold off on the wedding until we're established heroes?"
"Kids-..."
"Who cares?" Izuku cuts his dad off, glancing at the man who tightens his lips; giving the floor to his son. "Who cares if you two are gay? Love is love and you should be free to do whatever you want with whoever. What you two choose to do and love is up to you. I told Kacchan this the other day, probably one of the only things I remember from my fever, but I don't care about what gender I fall in love with. If Ochaco was a man, woman or some third party gender, I would still love her because ultimately, it's her personality and the fact that someone actually loves me for who I am that has drawn me to her. It should be the same for you, Kiri. You'd love Kacchan if he was a woman, man, worm. So tell it to the world confidently."
"Mido..." Eijiro tears up, looking at the greenette who stands next to Katsuki who nods determinedly.
"Call me Izuku. You're one of my closest friends, Kiri. You should have more faith in your love. You two can do anything if you're together!" The greenette beams, giving him thumbs up.
"O-Okay, Izuku. Yeah... yeah! I can do this- we can do this!"
"Yeah!"
