Izuku groans as he takes yet another tissue out of his box, blowing roughly into the sheet of paper as he sniffles. His phone rings as he answers without looking at the caller ID. "Yeah?"
"You're an idiot." A voice responds before cackling loudly as the greenette rolls his eyes, getting comfortable in his sheets as he hears movement. "You really got sick from not wearing a coat? You're so fucking dumb."
"Haha, thanks for the obvious, Kacchan. So what's up? Shouldn't you be doing the daily 5 miles?" Izuku questions, grabbing his water bottle and taking a sip.
"I am, but I got bored because your dumbass got sick this morning. I'd ask Ei to run, but he isn't a morning person." The blonde loudly scoffs as the greenette shrugs like the blonde could see him.
"That's your boyfriend, not much I can say about it besides ask next time. Who knows? Maybe he'd make himself a morning person for you." The greenette sighs, feeling a sneeze come on. "One s-secon-! Achoo!"
"Gross. And do you have something against gay people? You always sound so negative whenever someone like me says something about their relationship. You were kind of fucking stiff when talking to Four Eyes and Sparkles. What's up with that?" Katsuki questions as the greenette hums.
"I don't have anything against gay people or anything like that. I just always found myself recently being fascinated with the thought of dating whoever loved me for being me. Man or woman, I don't think I'd necessarily care. I think that if Ochaco was a man, I wouldn't be put off on dating her just because of that. It's weird, I don't know." The greenette finds himself confessing as he slumps down onto his pillows, kind of out of it. "I actually thought I liked you like that growing up, Kacchan. But that wasn't healthy if it was, so I don't know what I'm talking about. I'm just rambling."
"Like always, shit nerd. Go back to sleep and take your medication. I'll send your girltoy to you." The blonde laughs weakly, hearing snores on the other end before hanging up the phone; stepping inside of the dorms to find a few people scattered around. "Yo, anyone's seen Uraraka?"
"Yeah, Baku? I'm right here." The girl in question sticks her head out of the kitchen with flour on her cheek, causing the blonde to roll his eyes as he grabs a napkin from the table; wiping her cheek off as he grabs her shoulder to keep her from running, earning confused looks from everyone. "W-why are you doing that? I could have gotten it myself."
"Yeah, yeah. But you're over here walking around looking dumb as hell, so obviously you couldn't have gotten it." He rolls his eyes before pointing to the stairs. "Anyways, Izuku is sick. He sounds like he's on the verge of death."
"I told him he'd get sick if he gave me his coat. Oh, I'll make him some soup for lunch." She frets as the blonde rolls his eyes. "But wait, how'd you know?"
"I called him, duh. He missed our daily run, so I wanted to see what the hell was taking him so long." The blonde walks away towards the stairs. "Also, I'd worry about myself. You kissed him yesterday, so who's to say you won't get sick yourself?"
"H-how'd you know that?! You weren't there when Ku told everyone!" She looks around the room to see the grins she's receiving as the blonde chuckles, waving her off.
"I just assumed. You're both easy as fuck to read."
With that, the blonde walks up the stairs as a pink haired teen bounces up to Ochaco with a massive smile painted on her face. "You two kissed! I almost forgot about that... how was it!?"
"I-it was small... a thank you kiss for lending me his coat. I don't think it would get me sick since he wasn't sick when he lended it to me." Ochaco thinks out loud as Mina squeals. "S-shouldn't you worry about your own love life?"
The pink haired girl deflates as she groans. "I don't know how to ask.... You confessed during a game night. Maybe I should do the same!" Mina smiles determinedly as Ochaco sweatdrops.
"Yeah, but I confessed by accident. I wasn't intending on ever telling him my feelings. I didn't want to get in his way of being a hero."
"Well duh, but it worked out because now you're helping each other become your best selves! That is so romantic." She coos over the thought of being there for someone who would equally be there for her. "You're living a fairy tale, I swear. He probably treats you so good like we all thought he would once he got into a relationship."
"I guess? He's just so serious about me that it feels like I'm a new mission, sometimes. I like it when he doesn't overthink his words and lets whatever he thinks out of his mouth. Kind of like his mumbling. It lets me know how he truly feels about something." Ochaco explains as she sighs, thinking about the greenette. "He's just so amazing and I don't know... I want to tell him that every time I see him. I just wish he could relax a bit and not take life so seriously."
"Tell him that. You know he's an overworker. Especially with that One for All quirk he has. He constantly needs to be on the move or else he'll go bonkers from what we've seen." Mina chuckles, bouncing on her toes. "Maybe he'll calm down if a certain someone tells him he doesn't need to be on edge."
"I'll... I'll try to get him to relax. Maybe now that he's sick, he'll let himself be taken care of." Ochaco nods, determined to help her boyfriend recover and relax. "I'm going to make him some soup! I know he likes katsudon... so I'll use pork cutlets and make an egg drop soup with leaks."
"Sounds delicious! I'm sure he'll love it."
