I woke up on Tuesday wrapped in Reece's arms, just like most mornings. I always felt the safest with him like this. We should be getting ready for school, I thought to myself, but it feels so right, right now. I felt Reece start to stir in the bed next to me, so I knew he was waking up. I carefully positioned myself so that I was facing him. His eyes fluttered open and soon I was looking straight into his bright green eyes. He leant in and kissed my nose, this was something we did regularly.
"Good morning to you too," I muttered as I lay my head down on him chest and we lay like that for what seemed like hours.
"Want to skip today? I don't feel like doing anything today." He said repositioning us.
"What about Levi though? He only knows us and we can't leave him alone on his second day. Maybe we could invite him over for the day as well?" I said pulling out my phone when I heard Reece mutter a yeah. I scrolled through my contacts until I found his - Blue Eyed Boy. I pressed call and put the phone up to my ear to wait for his voice to come through. Surely enough in a few rings I heard that voice that had been running through my mind all night.
"Hey Elle, what's up?" He said and I felt my heart literally skip a beat.
"Hey Levi, not much. Reece and I are skipping today. Do you want us to pick you up and we could hang for the day? You could stay the night and we can take you with us tomorrow." I told him, I was hoping really hard that he would say yes just so I could see those eyes all day long. It was fair to say, I had a tiny crush on him.
"Uh yeah, that sounds pretty good. Can I meet you guys at the Mall? I'm at the doctors now, so can I meet you guys here in like 20 minutes?" He sounded a little bit nervous on the phone, but cute at the same time.
"Yeah we can do that. Is everything ok?" Why did he have to go to the doctors, I thought to myself.
"Yeah it's fine. Just check ups, that's all. I'll see you soon. Bye beautiful." He said as the line clicked dead. I blushed at the sound of him calling me beautiful.
"We're getting him from the mall in 20! Get up and get ready!" I called out to Reece as I ran into the bathroom to have a quick shower. After washing my hair I dried myself off and chucked on my white high waisted shorts with a pink crop top and my white sandals.
I walked out of the bathroom deciding to let my hair dry naturally and fall down my back in loose curls. When Reece had gotten ready we made our way out to the car and drove to the mall which was only a 10 minute drive. I told Reece to wait in the car and I went in to find Levi. I found him sitting on a bench with his hands in his head.
I went and sat next to him.
"Is it all OK?" I asked him as I was rubbing his back. He nodded his head.
"Yeah, it's fine. Nothing to worry about." We both stood up and I found myself looking into his eyes. He pushed a strand of loose hair behind my ear and leant in to kiss my cheek. I felt myself blushing.
"You're cute when you blush." he whispered in my ear.
"You're not too bad yourself." I said as I smiled up at him when he pulled away from me.
"Did you maybe want to go out with me on Friday night? Like just me and you?" he asked nervously looking down at his hands.
"I'd love to Levi." I replied feeling myself blush again. I looked at him and met his gaze. His eyes went wide and a smile spread across that beautiful face. "Let's go, Reece is waiting."
We walked out of the mall and out to Reece's car and surely enough he was still sitting in the drivers seat listening to Blake Shelton. He's our all time favourite artist! I jumped into the truck and sat in the middle so Levi could fit in too. We all decided to drive back to Reece's house and watch some movies. After stopping at the video store and picking up some cheesy lame movies we got to his place.
Making myself perfectly at home, like I normally do, and made myself comfortable on his big lounge in the movie room. Levi came and sat at a comfortable distance to me. Reece walked in shortly after and put on Dr Dolittle. My all time favourite movie! we spent the rest of the day like that, eating junk food, watching movies, and having a good time. It was great fun and I found myself looking more forward to Friday night with Levi.
