*8 months later*
Levi: Hey babe, I won't be at school today, I have to go to the doctors again. Your amazing. L x
Me: That's alright. Is it OK? Do you want me to come with you? E x
Levi: Won't your dad get angry at you for skipping school? L x
Me: No, he'll be cool. E x
Levi: Alright then beautiful. Pick you up in 30? L x
Me: Perfect. See you then handsome. E x
I quickly jump out of bed d run to my wardrobe. I put on my white knee length denim shorts and a red off the shoulder top with my red sandals. I throw my hair in a messy bun and put my red ribbon in. I put on some eyeliner and mascara and quickly ran my white purse, phone and money. Just as I am ready the doorbell rings. Luckily Alex is out today so I don't have to see him. I run down to the door and open it to a very place boyfriend. He looks absolutely terrible, but in a cute way still. We said hello and he kissed me on the cheek and we got in the car. It was a quiet ride to the doctors, he really mustn't be well.
Once we got to the mall where the doctors was, he got out and came to open my door. We walked up hand in hand. He sat in the reception room with his eyes closed and head in his hands.
I rubbed his back soothingly as if it was going to help, but I knew it was something bad, even his normally crystal blue eyes had turned to an off grey, which only happened when he was really really sick. I had seen that a few too many times.
"Levi Edwards - the doctor will see you now." The receptionist called out. I looked at Levi and nodded, helped him up and we went in together. He was still being extremely quiet.
"Alright Levi, what's wrong today?" Today? The doctor said it like this has happened many times.
"Headache again, throwing up, fainted, fever, and I feel dizzy. Again..." Levi said looking into is hands as if he had memorised saying that or something. He had never been this sick before so I was quite worried about him.
The doctor did a few small tests on him but told him at the moment it just seemed like a bug. Levi groaned.
"Doc, you say that every time. But it's not a bug! I've had a bug before. this is NOT a bug! Can't we do more tests to find out what it is?" Levi yelled in frustration, Poor Levi I thought as I grabbed his hand and rubbed it to calm him down.
"Look Levi! I can suggest you get an MRI done if you want to?" The doc said.
"Anything, I'm sick of being sick." He said with a tear threatening to escape his eye. He quickly blinked it away before the doctor could notice.
Doctor Adams nodded and typed a few things on his computer. After several minutes he spoke up, "OK Levi, you had an MRI on August 5th. Then come back August 9th." Levi nodded and walked out. I said goodbye to the doctor and ran after Levi.
We decided to go walk to the park where we had our first date, and like that night we sat on the bench cuddling.
It was perfect. We stayed until it was getting dark and decided I would stay at his house again.
As soon as we walked in the door his mom came up and bombarded him with questions. But instead of answering he pushed past and ran to his room. I shrugged my shoulders and followed.
He was sitting on his bed with a small box in his hands. I sat next to him and he put an arm around me.
"Are you OK?" He asked me as we lay down together.
"Of course I am! I'm just worried about you." I lay me head on his chest and intertwined our fingers.
"I'm fine. I just hate being sick really. But I have you, and you always make me feel better. You're perfect." He kissed the top of my head and mumbled something that I couldn't exactly hear properly. But I didn't care - right then, at that exact moment everything was perfect. I had the most perfect boyfriend in the world, and he was all mine. 8 months I've had him, and I never want to lose him. At that moment I knew, that I loved him and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.
