Preeti kept talking, but Ajay's stern warning silenced her immediately.

"If I hear another word from you, you'll regret it," Ajay's voice was firm and commanding in the empty forest. "Just follow me," he instructed, switching on his mobile torch and leading the way through the darkness.

Preeti obediently trailed behind him, but her curiosity bubbled up once more. "Excuse me?" she ventured.

Ajay shot her a sharp glare that made her think twice about speaking again.

But Preeti persisted, "Just one final question, I promise."

Ajay sighed deeply, clearly exhausted by Preeti's relentless inquiries.

"Do you know why we're here?" Preeti's enthusiasm was palpable.

"You said one question," Ajay reminded her, his patience wearing thin.

Preeti rolled her eyes dramatically. "Please," she pleaded.

Ajay relented slightly, "My ex-fiancée," he admitted.

"Your fiancée?" Preeti looked puzzled.

"Ex-fiancée," Ajay corrected her. "We're not on good terms."

Preeti was taken aback by this revelation. "My God," she exclaimed. "She dumped you in the middle of a forest just because of a fight? And why bring me into this?" she asked, genuinely bewildered.

"How would I know?" Ajay replied wearily. "She was jealous that you're with me."

"No, you bumped into me intentionally," Preeti argued. "Stop blowing this out of proportion."

Ajay ignored her protests and led her to a cave. "This is where we'll spend the night," he announced.

"What? I'm not staying here! How can I sleep here?" Preeti protested.

"Shut up," Ajay snapped.

Preeti yelled back at him, and Ajay, visibly irritated, pushed her in frustration. "Can't you just be quiet? You're so irritating!"

"I love to irritate," Preeti retorted defiantly.

After a tense silence, Preeti couldn't resist breaking it once more. "Tell me about your first love," she persisted.

Ajay glared at her skeptically. "Are you sure? Do you even know who I am?"

"Does it matter?" Preeti challenged. "You could be some illegal mafia, for all I care."

"Seriously?" Preeti gasped.

Ajay cut her off abruptly. "Enough talk. Let's sleep."

"Sleep here?" Preeti questioned incredulously.

"Or do you prefer sleeping outside?" Ajay retorted, prompting Preeti to reluctantly settle down to rest.

Preeti couldn't resist boasting, "I'm a well-educated person," hoping to impress Ajay.

Ajay remained unimpressed. "Does that matter in this situation?" he retorted. "You could be dealing with someone dangerous."

Preeti shrugged. "Illegal mafia, CEO—it's all the same in the end. What's important is how you treat people."

Ajay raised an eyebrow. "You think you know everything, don't you?"

"Well, I know enough not to trust strangers who drag me into forests," Preeti quipped.

Ajay shook his head, suppressing a smile despite the tension. "Let's focus on finding a safe place to rest."

As they settled into the cave, Preeti's curiosity got the better of her once more. "Tell me about your first love. What happened?"

Ajay sighed, reminiscing about the past. "There wasn't much to it. It was a marriage of convenience. We were never happy. She cheated on me."

Preeti's eyes widened in surprise. "Seriously? That's awful."

"And what about you?" Ajay asked, trying to redirect the conversation.

Preeti adopted a determined expression. "When I'm married, I'll be faithful to my husband. No love affairs for me."

Ajay smirked, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Good to know."

Preeti, feeling emboldened, continued, "And speaking of marriages, what's this meeting with Ajay Deshmukh,CEO of their company about?"

Ajay's expression darkened. "It's business. Nothing you need to worry about."

Preeti leaned closer, undeterred. "Come on, spill the details. I'm stuck in the middle of a forest, after all."

Ajay sighed, realizing the gravity of their situation. "We need to get some rest. It's been a long night."

Preeti nodded reluctantly, her mind buzzing with questions and uncertainty. "I guess you're right. But tomorrow, I expect some answers."

Ajay nodded in agreement, and the two settled down for an uneasy night's sleep in the wilderness, surrounded by darkness and uncertainty.

As the night wore on, the sounds of the forest echoed around them, adding to Preeti's unease. "Do you hear that?" she whispered, her eyes wide with apprehension.

Ajay listened intently. "It's just the wildlife. Try to get some sleep."

Preeti tried to follow his advice, but her mind raced with thoughts of their unexpected predicament. "How did we end up..
