Several hours later, Noct was making his way back to where Makoto took him for her trial. Furina was joining them this at Noct's request to bring her along. When they returned to the gateway, Makoto activated it.
Makoto: Shall we?
They both nod, as they walked in. Noct had his driver on, while holding his Zi-O II ridewatch. When they arrived, Makoto started the trial as the Guardian Formed.

Noct: Henshin!

As the armor formed, the guardian swings her sword. The hands on his helmet spun around. (He sees the guardian's hand reappear behind him as it slams it's hand down onto him.)
Noct: I see it!
He summons his swords, as he parries one attack. He uses the force of the impact to roll back, dodging the second strike.

He throws his sword at the Guardian , as a polearm formed in her hand. She blocks the attack, as he charges at her. He switches his other sword into Gun Mode, he takes aim at her .
