Noct's POV

It was snowing in Fontaine, I know Snowing . You'd think the only place in all of Teyvat would be Snezhnaya to have snow. But anyways, since the nation was more advanced than most they were able to handle it pretty "well". I say that but the one of the down sides is that the Aquabus are unusable at the time due to the water freezing. 

???: Noct? 

I turned to find Furina having a holding up two scarfs. Recently she been more open to me about stuff, how she actually can't cook anything other than Macaroni. 

(A/n: She is living in Palais Memonia) 

Noct: What's up ? 

I was just watching the snow fall, since traveling between the court of Fontaine and Opera Epiclese is near impossible. 

Furina: Which scarf do you like? 

She was holding up two scarfs , one was a light blue scarf with a hint of light red at the ends. While the other is a scarf that is opposite in terms of shade. I point to the lighter one. She smiled and approached me , wrapping the other one around my neck . 

Noct: Oh thank you. 

She smiled as she wrapped the lighter one around her neck . 

Furina: Come on! I don't wanna be late! 

I looked at her confused for a moment. 

Noct: Where are we going? 

Furina: Theirs's gonna be a trial at the Opera Epiclese, I don't wanna miss out. 

I was confused even more as I stood up. 

Noct: I take it , you didn't speak to Neuvillete then... 

She looked at me confused.

Furina: was I suppose too? 

I pinched the bridge between my eyes. 

Noct: There's no trials today, due to the Snow . No one can get to the Opera Epiclese anyways due to the snow. Not only that but when I last saw him...

<Flashback> 3rd POV

Noct arrived at Palais Memonia, the snow was starting to fall and the weather being colder. He entered and noticed it wasn't as packed as any other time. He entered his office and noticed the Iudex had his head on his desk.

Noct: Neuvillete! 

He quickly approached him and pulled him back from his chair. The Iudex was asleep...

Noct: Oh... shit... 

He laid him back down gently and backed away. A Melusine entered the office and noticed he was asleep.

Melusine: Oh dear... this isn't gonna be good.  

Noct: Yeah... uh how many cases was he working on? 

She looked it over and luckily he has none. 

Noct: Okay.. so keep this quiet and I'll inform Furina about what happened ... assuming she's in a listening mood. 

< Half an hour later> 

Furina: I DON'T WANNA HEAR IT!!!!! 

< End of Flashback> 

She scratched the side of her head and laughed. 

Furina: O-oh...um I'm sorry. 

He chuckles .
