Noct and Furina were at port between Fontaine and Sumeru's desert. They got on a wave rider, Noct drove as they talked about what to expect in Sumeru's desert region.

Noct: Furina? You okay?

He noticed she looked tense as she held his arm tightly.

Furina: This is the farthest I've been out of Fontaine.

Noct: I know the feeling, when I left Inazuma to begin my journey I felt homesick .

She listened to his story as he drove to the nearby dock. When they arrived, Noct took in a deep breath and yelled at the top of his lungs.

Noct: DAMN YOU DESERT!!!!!!

Noct: DAMN YOU DESERT!!!!!!

Furina only chuckled. As they traveled across the desert, they stopped at an Oasis to refill on water and take a break .

Furina: I thought Sumeru was a lush green forest ... not a dune nightmare.

She looked at Noct, whose face was submerged underwater . He pulled his head out as he felt rejuvenated.

Noct: I'm alive again!

He laid back in the shade .

Furina: How did you handle traveling through this place all by yourself?

He looked at her as she was sitting down next to him.

Noct: Well almost every day, a group of Eremites kept trying to attack me . So thanks to that group I managed to stay on my toes.

Furina: I see. If i traveled alone through this place, I'd lose my sanity within a few days.

As they relaxed, Furina went into her bag and pulled out a Kamera. She took a picture of the scenery .

She took a picture of the scenery

Furina: Thats a keeper!

She pulled out an album and slides the picture in . She noticed Noct who fell asleep as she takes a picture of him napping.

Furina: He's too cute.

She whispered to herself. She looks at the picture and slides it in her coat. After a bit of rest, they continued to travel until they arrived at a village called Aaru village.
