As the commotion in the courtyard settled, I turned around to see Mihika being proposed to by the most popular boy in school, Ryan Choudhury. The setting was perfect for a proposal, with the sun setting in the background, casting a warm glow over the entire scene. The whole situation felt surreal as Ryan got down on one knee, holding out a bouquet of red roses and said,

"Mihika, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

The crowd erupted in cheers as Mihika's eyes widened in surprise. She hesitated for a moment, her hands clasped over her mouth in shock. After a few seconds of silence, she finally managed to say,

"Yes-yes-YESSS"

They hugged each other tightly, sealing the deal with a warm embrace.

As Mihika and Ryan shared their moment of happiness, me and my friends, Kiara and Samaira, gathered around to congratulate her. We were all thrilled for Mihika, but deep down, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy.

After the initial excitement died down, we all sat down with Mihika . She blushed as we teased her about being Ryan's new girlfriend, but she couldn't stop smiling. It was evident that she was truly happy with her decision, and we couldn't be happier for her.

The conversation then shifted to my own love life which was apparently a mess. Ayaan had recently been caught cheating on me, and I was still struggling to come to terms with it. Seeing Mihika and Ryan together made me realize that maybe it was time for me to move on as well. And what better way to do that than by getting close to Vivaan, the new senior crush I had been eyeing for a while.

Vivaan was Ryan's best friend, and I knew that getting to know him better would also help me forget about Ayaan's betrayal. I had started to like Vivaan, his charming smile and kind eyes drawing me in. Maybe this was my chance to start afresh and leave all the drama of my past relationships behind.

The idea of getting closer to Vivaan excited me.

As I saw Vivaan from across the courtyard, I couldn't help but get lost in his deep brown eyes. Maybe this was the beginning of something new and exciting, a chance to find love again after the heartbreak I had endured.
