A MONTH LATER...
I couldn't contain my excitement as Mihika handed me the invitation card for Ryan's birthday party. I knew Vivaan would be there, and just the thought of seeing him made my heart race with anticipation.
"Oh my gosh, I can't believe it! Vivaan will be there!" I exclaimed, jumping up and down with joy.
Mihika, Kiara, and Samaira laughed at my reaction, knowing how much I had a crush on him.
Later that evening, we all went to the mall to shop for our outfits for the party. As soon as I entered the mall, I saw Vivaan standing near the entrance. My heart skipped a beat, and I couldn't believe my eyes. He greeted me with a warm smile, and I felt my cheeks flush with embarrassment.
"Hey, Alisha, fancy meeting you here," Vivaan said, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
"He-y y excited for the party huh?"
"uhm of course you are.." I stumbled over my words, unable to form a coherent sentence in his presence. But Vivaan was charming and easygoing, making me feel comfortable despite my nervousness.
We spent the evening shopping together, and I was pleasantly surprised when Vivaan picked out something.
"This would look amazing on you," he said with a grin, holding up the dress against me.
As we made our way to the checkout counter, I couldn't help but sneak glances at Vivaan, feeling a flutter of butterflies in my stomach. After shopping, we decided to grab dinner at the mall as we were all hungry. We laughed and chatted over our meal, enjoying each other's company.
The evening flew by in a blur of laughter, smiles, and stolen glances between Vivaan and me. Eventually, it was time to part ways, and as we said our goodbyes, Vivaan gave me a sweet smile that made my heart skip a beat.
"See you at the party, Alisha," he said before walking away.
