"You're nothing but a coward, Vivaan!" Ayaan spat, his voice filled with mokery. "You think you can steal Alisha away from me just because you have a fancy car and a fat wallet?"
Vivaan clenched his fists, his jaw tight with fury. "At least I don't cheat on my girlfriend, Ayaan. Unlike you, I value loyalty and trust in a relationship.
The insults flew back and forth , each word a sharp dagger aimed at the other's heart. The air crackled with energy as the tension escalated to a fever pitch.
And then, it happened.
Vivaan's fist came flying towards Ayaan's face, connecting with a sickening thud. Ayaan staggered back, blood gushing from his nose, staining his white shirt. But he didn't back down; instead, he lunged forward, fists swinging wildly.
I felt a surge of panic as I saw them both bleeding, their faces filled with pain and anger. I knew I had to do something, and fast, before things spiraled out of control.
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps echoed , and my friends Mihika, Kiara, and Samaira appeared, their eyes widening in shock at the scene unfolding before them.
"What the hell is going on here?" Kiara demanded, her voice tinged with concern.
"Alisha, are you okay?"Samaira said with dread in her eyes.
Before I could respond, Ryan, Mihika's boyfriend, stepped in between Ayaan and Vivaan, trying to separate them. But Ayaan pushed him aside, his eyes blazing with fury.
"Get out of my way, Ryan!" Ayaan growled, his fists clenched at his sides. "This is between me and Vivaan.
Ryan's jaw clenched, his eyes flashing with anger. "You're a damn fool, Ayaan. Can't you see you're hurting her with your stupid act?"
Mihika quickly intervened, pulling Ryan away before things could escalate further." Dont get in between them, you will hurt yourself"
But the tension in the air was palpable, like a thick fog enveloping us all.
I took a deep breath, mustering up the courage to step in between Ayaan and Vivaan, my heart pounding in my chest."Stop it, both of you!" I cried, tears welling up in my eyes. "This isn't the way to solve anything. Please, just stop."
Ayaan's gaze softened for a moment, a flicker of regret crossing his face. And then, without a word, he turned and walked away.
As I watched him go, a sense of sadness washed over me, mingled with relief that the fight had finally come to an end. But I knew that this was far from over, that the wounds inflicted tonight ran deep and would take time to heal.
