The sun was shining brightly as I walked through the school gates on the first day of my senior year. It had been a long summer, and I couldn't wait to see my friends after what felt like an eternity. As I scanned the crowded hallway, I finally spotted Mihika, Kiara, and Samaira standing under near my class, their laughter ringing through the air.

"Hey girls!" I called out, running towards them. They turned around, their faces lighting up in recognition. We hugged tightly, sharing stories of our summer adventures and catching up on all the gossip we had missed out on.

After a while, the conversation turned to Ayaan, my boyfriend. Things had been difficult between us lately, and I could feel the distance growing between us. As if on cue, Ayaan appeared by my side, with a bland expression. Both of us forced a smile on our face and exchanged awkward hellos. For a moment, the air between us crackled with unresolved tension."Are you guys okay?" Mihika asked, sensing the tension in the air.Ayaan and I exchanged a glance, both of us unsure of how to answer. It felt like we had drifted apart, and the love that was once there seemed to have faded away."We need to talk," I finally said, breaking the uncomfortable silence. Ayaan nodded, his eyes hinting sadness. As the bell rang, signaling the start of the first day of classes, we parted ways, the weight of our unspoken words hanging heavy between us. I turned to my friends, seeking comfort and advice."What should I do?" I asked, with a broken voice.Mihika, Kiara, and Samaira exchanged knowing glances before Samaira spoke up. "Maybe it's time to have an honest conversation with Ayaan."

"AND IT HAS TO BE TODAY!" Kiara said firmly.

I nodded, grateful for their support. As we made our way to our respective classes, I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that lingered in the pit of my stomach. The first day of senior year was supposed to be filled with excitement and anticipation, but all I could think about was the impending conversation with Ayaan. As the day went on, the thought of talking to Ayaan weighed heavily on my mind. I couldn't focus on anything else, my thoughts consumed by the uncertainty of our relationship. Was this the end of our relationship, or was there still a chance to reignite the spark that had once burned so brightly between us?I found myself counting down the minutes until the final bell of the day, eager to have the conversation that could potentially change everything. As I walked towards our usual meeting spot, I could see Ayaan waiting for me, his expression a mix of apprehension and determination.

"We need to talk," I repeated, my voice firm with resolve.
