Secret Rivals, Part 5

*You walk into the restaurant behind Lando and the first person who jumps up and comes and hugs me is Max. You look over at the group, wave to everyone, and then realise that Max's girlfriend Kelsie is just staring at you. She then hops out of the seat and comes and approaches you.*

Kelsie: Hey can I talk to you?

Y/n: Yeah

*She then takes you to a little area away from the group. You look back at Lando and he looks at you and nods so you know that you need to stand up for yourself.*

Kelsie: You need to stay away from Max he is my boyfriend and not yours so back off.

Y/n: Wow, where is this coming from Max and I have been close ever since I have been in the academy and nothing is going on between us so you need to settle down.

Kelsie: If you don't back away I will destroy your career.

*After she said that you instantly get up and walk away and try to shove that comment down because it hits hard. You walk back over to the group.*

Lando: So what happened are you ok?

Y/n: I will tell you when we get back to the hotel.

*You try not to cry and you sit down in between Lando and Ricciardo.*

Carlos: Are you ready for tomorrow?

Y/n: I am very nervous because I have seen how many crashes there have been and I am scared of what will happen if I do crash.

Carlos: You are a very talented driver you will be able to handle anything that gets thrown at you.

Charles: We will be the first ones to help you because we will all be behind you.

Y/n: Well you got the part of you guys being behind me right?

*Everyone starts to giggle.*

Riccardo: You will be ok we will all be here to support you.

*The night goes on and you eat a heap of good food and once everyone has eaten and had some drinks you all go for a walk and talk. You don't walk far before stopping at an ice cream shop around the corner.*

Charles: This ice cream is not like the ice cream over in Italy.

Y/n: I can agree, the Italian ice cream is so much better.

*After all the drinking and talking you start to forget about what Kelsie said earlier. You start to forget until you hug Max goodbye when you are leaving with Lando. When you get in the car Lando drives because he was the responsible one and he didn't drink anything. The hotel isn't far away from the restaurant so when you get home you get your laptop and lie down in your bed and Lando lays next to you.*

Lando: What did Kelsie say to you because you looked like you were going to break down?

Y/n: She told me that Max is her boyfriend and I need to leave him alone otherwise she will destroy my F1 career.

Lando: That bitch she can't destroy your career this just shows you that she is jealous that she can't do what you can.

*You start to break down thinking about how she is treating you and what she is going to try and do to you.*

Lando: Hey sweetheart you are ok you are safe you are protected and you are strong.

*As you slowly calm down in Lando's arms.*

Y/n: I love you Lando you mean the world to me.

Lando: I love you too you're my world y/n i know that your dad will get mad but promise me you will tell your dad over the break.

Y/n: I promise I will I will talk to my Mum tomorrow before practice.
