"Son, we don't have to do this..it doesn't have to be this way."

"Why are you here? Why are you still trying to convince me to work with that..Murderer?! He's murdered my friends, slaughtered any and all who stood against him..Your friends too!"

"This isn't about Brainiac, Y/N, it's about doing the right thing. You should too."

"I am doing the right thing..Someone has too."
________
-CHAPTER 1-
-SWEPT AWAY-
________

Y/N PRINCE's POINT OF VIEW.
LOCATION: BRAINIACS SHIP, HOLDING CELLS, LOWER DECK.
(2 HOURS SINCE LAST CHAPTER.)
(Y/N's AGE: TWENTY-ONE)

"Y/N.." A faint voice echoed in my mind.

I was still deep within my sleep. Days of fighting, of hunger and thirst and caused my body to collapse under pressure. The many wounds and scars I have accumulated over said days haven't assisted in my recovery either.

But I imagine were it not for my Amazionian heritage..I would've succumbed to my wounds and dismays days ago.

"Y/N..!" That voice again..

It was a females voice. It was strong, but slowly growing weaker. The person was tired.

Weren't we all..?

"Y/N!" The voice coos louder, this time actually disturbing my slumber.

My eyes quickly jolt open as I lean forward, looking round. Breathing rapidly.

As my eyes scan the room I quickly take notice of my surroundings. It was dark, very dark. And very enclosed. But I was not alone, other people were also in the room I was within. Men, women and even children. Those who's peaked Brainiacs interest it seems.

"Thank Hera, your alive." The voice continues.

Looking to my left I see Donna looking at me, relief written across her face. Before I can react, she quickly encloses me within a bone-breaking hug.

"I thought..I thought the worse, nephew." Donna explains, before finally breaking the hug.

Looking closer at her face I watch as she notices my gaze. A small and weak smile falls on her face as her hand trails over her covered eye, bandages wrapped around her left eye concealing whatever damage had been done beneath it."

"Diana.." She mumbles, just loud enough so that I can faintly hear it.

I continue to look around the room. It was dirty, cramped.

"Where are we?" I ask, slowly rising to my feet to get a better look at the room we were within.

Donna follows my motion,

"We're in Brainiacs ship..more specifically? His holding area." She explain, motioning behind me. I turn, only to see a massive area, composed of hundreds of other rooms. Much like my own. Each blocked by a strange holographic wall preventing out escape..
