After the hot spring they had, they eventually fell asleep except for poor Kagome. She was feeling something she wanted to do. However, she is, indeed, in heat. She wanted to find somebody to love her. One nightstand could be possible, but she didn't want to give herself to a stranger she didn't know. Inuyasha would be furious if she did sleep with a stranger. He'll smell her scent or someone else's scent.

Right now, Kagome quietly got up from the bed and left the camp without noticing Inuyasha's watching duties. Well, he was half-asleep with he heard noises coming from the forest. Buy why can he hear the sound coming from Kagome's footsteps? He would have been fully awake if he could question her as to why she woke up in the middle of the night. Demons were supposed to be fully awakened during the night.

As she left the camp, she found herself in the dark forest as she began to walk around on the trail. She only stopped walking when she collided with something or rather someone and fell onto her rear end. She rubbed her butt and looked up to see someone unexpectedly. She secretly admitted she had a crush on someone she had known for a while.
