Adams pov

"Welp here we are" I pulled the car to a stop "and I even went through the trouble of getting you your own ticket. I'm amazing I know"

"Well if you know then I don't have to tell you" she walked on with a teasing smile.

"Hey! A little fucking gratitude would still be nice!" I yelled, making her laugh. Her laugh is pretty-no! I shook my head firmly. Don't get attached to this girl. It'll only end in heartbreak.

It always does.

We headed into the stadium where the music started blaring. The rumbling of the sound waves beneath my feet, the cheers of the crowd, that killer guitar solo. God I missed this.

"Holy crap this is amazing" lute shouted over the crowd "I can't believe I settled for just listening to this from my headphones"

"Hold on. You've never been to a concert before?" I yelled back.

"No. I either never had time or couldn't afford it" she answered.

"Seriously? Girl you haven't been living!"

"Clearly not" she laughed 'Thanks for giving me this opportunity" I smiled at her thanks.

"Shame I can't see anything though. I guess that's the problem with being short" she sighed.

"Maybe you should get on my back. Then you can see everything" I said jokingly.

"Great idea sir!" Without warning she jumped on my back. I choked back a gasp at the sudden weight "wow it's even better when you can see everything" her eyes lit up excitedly. I smiled at her excitement. Maybe she's not so bad.
