⚠️ FINAL WARNINGS ⚠️
As someone from LA, personally I know absolutely nothing about hunting and have a lack of self-preservation; if I'm being honest, I would 110% die within the first week of the dead rising and Mary will be the same!
She's a baker; okay, she doesn't know anything about shooting guns, throwing knives or even fighting, so bare with me in the beginning, please!
So many of the TWD books I've read start off with an OC that's already being badass and knows so much about surviving in this new world (no complaints though because I do love them). That being said, I wanted to try something different. I wanted to see how a common person would do, how they adapt and how they learn to adjust to a completely new lifestyle.
Yes, Mary will start off a bit "weak" in the beginning, but let's be real - who wouldn't? But with time and effort and help from others, Mary is going to grow in so many ways that I'm excited to write about. So, don't expect her to be hitting bullseyes within the first five minutes of holding a gun.
If this is a problem for you, that's okay; however, please don't leave comments about how "useless" she is or "she's so stupid." I am okay with constructive criticism and would love it if you pointed out any obvious mistakes such as spelling, grammar, or if something I wrote makes absolutely no sense. Sometimes I think too fast and just type, making mistakes without even realizing it.
