Quick Reminder; I only own the OCs in this story and I'm new to all this. The characters and the story in "Tangled" and the MARVEL characters I put into it are all property of Disney. I wish I got this out in the previous chapter like everyone else. So PLEASE! DON'T! SUE! ME! Please enjoy.

Back at the tower, Rapunzel was packing everything away while preparing for her mother's arrival.

"This is it, Pascal! I'm gonna do it! I'm gonna ask her!" Rapunzel says to her chameleon friend with determination.

"Rapunzel!" Gothel calls out from outside.  "Let down your hair!"

"It's time." Rapunzel says through her teeth nervously but with excitement. Pascal puffs out his chest emphasizing her to be courageous.

"I know, now don't let her see you." Rapunzel says as the chameleon crawls from his human friend onto the wall before blending into its colors.

Then, Rapunzel sets her hair on a hook outside the window and lets it down to the bottom of the tower for Gothel to grab on before the soon-to-be 18-year-old pulls her up.

"Hi. Welcome home, Mother." Rapunzel greeted.

"Rapunzel, how you manage to do that every single day without fail. It's absolutely exhausting, darling." Gothel says as she enters the tower.

"Oh, it's nothing." Rapunzel promises.

"Then, I don't know why it takes so long." Gothel says before laughing, "Oh, darling, I'm just teasing."

Rapunzel chuckles nervously, feeling slightly offended by that comment, before trying to rally up the courage to ask Gothel. "So, Mother, as you know, tomorrow is a very big day-"

Gothel wasn't really paying any attention to Rapunzel as she examines herself in the mirror before interrupting Rapunzel, "Rapunzel, look in the mirror."

Rapunzel does so with Gothel.

"Do you know what I see? I see a strong, confident, beautiful young lady." Then, Gothel glances at Rapunzel's reflection. "Oh, look, you're here, too."

Then, Gothel bursts out laughing, "I'm just teasing. Stop taking everything so seriously."

Then, she continues to examine herself in the mirror, noticing signs of aging, as Rapunzel continues to try and ask her, "OK. So, tomorrow, Mother, as I was saying-"

"Rapunzel, Mother's feeling a little run down." Gothel interrupts. Again. "Would you sing for me, dear? Then, we'll talk."

Rapunzel races over to get Gothel's chair, a footstool, and a brush and quickly starts singing as soon as she and Gothel are seated.

"FlowerGleamandGlow LetYourPowerShine MaketheClockReverse BringBackWhatOnceWasMine HealWhatHasBeenHurt ChangetheFatesDesign SaveWhatHasBeenLost BringBackWhatOnceWasMine WhatOnceWasMine!"

Rapunzel sang at full speed, making Gothel worry she might not catch up before brushing her hair briefly as the magic of Rapunzel's hair flowed quickly and restored Gothel's youth instantly.

"Rapunzel-" Gothel was about to lecture Rapunzel about her rushing things the way she did, but the latter interrupts as she rushes to the former's side, "So, Mother, earlier I was saying that tomorrow is a big day, and you didn't really respond. So, I'm just gonna tell you, it's my birthday! Ta-da!"

"No, no, no. Can't be." Gothel says. "I distinctly remember that your birthday was last year."

"That's the funny thing about birthdays; they're kind of an annual thing." Rapunzel says before taking her seat back on the footstool.
